When we say a few days ago that nothing has changed in Albania since Hotza about the desecration of Greek Orthodox Church in Chimara and Premeti again today is himself Berisha to confirm. According to the Albanian press Prime Minister committed the country shortly to eliminate all the foreign toponyms in towns, villages and neighborhoods and the signs of shops and replaced with Albanian. The decision was taken yesterday, which inter alia stated that the local government must send its proposals for new names will be from the''ancient''Albanian. The reason for this decision was rejected by the Council of Ministers of Albania request for authorization of private educational institution with the name''Logos''. As can be seen Berisha aim is none other than the Greek toponyms in the south of the country. The only reaction so far is the former Foreign Minister of the country, Paskal Milo.Mr. Milo said Berisha ridiculous decision reminiscent Hotza the dictatorial regime where hundreds of villages had become socialist names. " So it? Banned the educational establishment under the name "Logos" huh? And will change all names to Ancient Albanian! Like that old saying ... "Albanian tourist"! To laugh or to cry? go to hell? The Ethnic Greeks and there toponyms in the south of the country are protected by the protocol of corfu since 1914 We wait of the Greek state's reaction !!

Aris Don't be a f**king retard dont talk bulls**t !!
The signing of the Protocol of Corfu in 1914 insured that the Northern Epiros region would have its own administration and government. This protocol also recognized the rights of the Greek Minority and provided self-government under nominal Albanian sovereignty.
In 1920, Albania was admitted to the League of Nations under the condition that its government would give formal assurances that the rights of ethnic and religious minorities would be fully respected. This was undertaken in the form of the Albanian Declaration on the Protection of Minorities, proclaimed on October 2, 1921.
These assurances, however, were not respected and by 1934, all non-state schools had been closed. Greece brought the issue to the Council of the League of Nations, which referred it to the Permanent Court of International Justice and in 1935, this court decided that Albania had to restore the right of its minorities to establish their own schools.
Gross violations of human rights were committed against all citizens of Albania under the communist dictator, Enver Hoxha, who wielded total power from 1941 until his death in 1985. His Prime Minister, Ramiz Alia, took over in 1985 until the communist regime collapsed in 1991. The Greek minority suffered from religious persecution and the denial of its national and cultural identity.
Current situation:
The Greek Minority in Albania continues to suffer. The Albanian government has cleaned ethnic Greeks from appointed positions of power. The violence is a part of*government plan to force ethnic Greek to abandon their homes in Albania and move south to Greece. A visit to Albania by US Congressman Tom Lantos, with Mr. Menelaos Tzelios led to Congressional action to put pressure on Albanian authorities.
Thats the Reason why Greece not lift the state of War against Albania

Actually Greece could hardly say anything because that's exactly what the Greek state did after the independence of the country ... but Berisha won't do it. We are not fascist.

You're misinformed dude.. Greece changed the names of the Ottoman administration system who were the occupiers of Greece. The change Greece did was just to give back to places the initial names these places had.. before the Ottoman occupation. In other words.. if and I say just hypothericaly if.. Greece one day conqueres Istanbul and rename it Konstantinoupolis.. then that is considered from you as a deliberate and unfair "change of name"?

Lol... paper organizations. Worse yet none of those organizations say anything about Albania mistreating Greek minority. And what are "All Albania's actions", specifically? Especially as Greece changed did the very action your accusing Albania of right now.

Most propably he means the Greeks who builted Dyracheion, Appolonia etc. The cities and people Ali Pasha found already standing there far before his arrival in these lands. I believe the discussion is for these Greeks.. At the time of Ali Pasha, Epidamnos was a Muslim Gheg fishing village. It didnt become anything until the italians helped its reconstructions... in 1923 the population was a wopping.... 10,000. The ancient port had silted up completely and needed to be completely reconstructed. Apollonia was deserted green land where there was a single monastery from the 14th century and an ancient monument. Durres in the Balkan Wars when it had grown to 5000 people: i17.photobucket.com/albums/b89/albanija1/durresi-kohaluftraveballkanike.jpgAnd this is what Apollonia has looked like for over a thousand years: www.albanian.com/information/countries/albania/places/APOLLONI.JPGLook at all them Greeks.
