Funny enough.. taxalia.blogspot.com/2009/08/news-from-skopje-fyrom.html24 Ore "They Are Listening To Greek Music To Spite Gruevski" by Ardian Mehmeti: Skopje 27 Aug 2009. In various public bars and on different websites, Albanian youths are increasingly listening to Greek music -- as they say -- to spite the SlavoMacedonians and Gruevski. The immense irritation and the intense hatred against the current FYROMacedonian prime minister have started to manifest themselves in this realm as well. According to them,.... the expression of this kind of annoyance is directed at objecting to this government, which has come into conflict with Greece over the name issue. We were caught by surprise when we noticed that a local public bar in Tetovo was playing Greek music. One of the waiters told us that listening to this kind of music had become a daily routine, which, in his view, is happening for a particular reason. "Yes, normally, there is tendency to make a mockery of this issue by listening to this kind of music to spite the SlavoMacedonians and please the Greeks, but we also listen to this music because it is fascinating music," Tetovo waiter Arlind said. The Greek music is so loud that even passersby can hear it outside the pubs. Nonetheless, on internet forums one can spot different debates about the preference for Greek music and precisely about the FYROMacedonian Government's trend of promoting the policy on antiquity, thus appropriating ancient elements. There are short texts and messages explaining why Greek music is being listened to. "This guy Gruevski has forced me to listen to Greek music. Lately, I have participated in Greek internet forums to voice my support for the Greek party on the name dispute." "Because of resentment against this government, I prefer Greek songs." These and other messages have recently been posted on various internet forums.

Problem for this "splitting" approach is that the capitol SKOPLJE speaks SERBIAN ;D ;D, so i suggest we all sit down and wait till this region is incorporated in the next Yugoslavija (or better Serbia).
Until this land, becomes Yugoslav again (as it was natural to be) the name problem will persist.
MARK MY WORDS ;D

If what you say is true, then why does the Greek government make it so difficult and apply so much red tape to Albanians in Greece wanting to register as a Greek citizen? That problem is very prevalent in Greece. I believe wholeheartedly that the Greek government and businesses only like the Albanian labor force. It's cheap and plentiful. And do Albanians in Greece listen to Greek music? Maybe it's only Albanians in the country that is Greece's northern neighbor.

While I like the provocation towards these FYROM Slavs, I really don't care. There are better ways to unite then blasting Greek music.

Honestly, don't you have any pride in your heritage? a lot, e.g. i am a strong supporter of the "Kathareuousa" language, and i will teach ancient greek to my kids, but it is now my turn to question you: WTF does my heritage have to do with the political affiliation of the Skopian population? Why do you always have to mix irrelevant issues in your heads? PS YOUR "PROUD albanian heritage", didn't stop you wearing AMERICAN flags and having pictures of clinton/bush even in toilets.... ;D ;D HA HA HA, its always GOLD to have ppl like you around, HA HA HA

SarPlaninac was from some village in the Shar mountains, predominantly inhabited by Albanians. This isn't the same as being from Skopje. And I knew about Ljubotan, but Nikola isn't a Serb to my knowledge? And isn't it funny, Pycko, that the name Sar, pronounced Shar, is in accordance with phonetic rules of Albanian? If ancient Scardona in Dalmatia had no non-Slavic intermediary and resulted in Skradin, why didn't the same occur with Scardona or Scardus mons that is the name of modern day Shari mountains? In conclusion, SarPlaninac and all other Serbs are tourists or temporary residents of "Skoplje"

The only closest to anti-Serb you can get is Demosthenes. ohh and he is 100% anti-albo, anti-bulgo as well. Life is hard hey Pokemon? About Sar, you are funny, Sar is a totally Slavic word: ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A8%D0%B0%D1%80

Why, because I don't have a nose up my rectum like Serbs have yours? I don't need that. As for Demosthenes, he's a cool bloke, and he's never uttered a bad word against my people. Atleast nothing I've seen. I don't read Cyrillic, Pycko, nor do I speak Slavic. Perhaps smth else than a wikipedia article would serve your purpose of advocating Slav autochtony better. You see, it is a "free" encyclopaedia which allows regular people to edit articles. Basically they could be making shyt up, as long as the administrators cannot verify the contrary. If you would use wikipedia articles as a reference in academic circles, you would be a laughing stock ... but I'm sure you're accustomed to that. Scardus mons was the ancient name of the Shar mountains, and predates the Slavic invasion much like the name Macedonia does. And its current form isin complete accordance with the phonetic rules of Albanian, we're the intermediary, hence why Serbs say Sar Planina, and not Skradin as in Dalmatia ... this is why Turks say Sar Dagh and so on. Same with Skopje. During antiquity, it was known as Scupi. In Albanian it is Shkupi, which has clearly preserved an older form than Skopje or Skoplje.
