^ u meant the difference of our appearances ?
i think we look same to white people, but we know we look different.
koreans have bigger cheek bones, thin side-up eyes with single eyelid, pale skin. their looking is similar to siberian tribes. they are taller and larger than japanese generally.
japanese have more features from the south, such as round face, wider eyes, darker skin etc. around 1/2 of us have double eyelid (llike southeastern asians and other races)
this is 2 stereotypes of ancient japanese people. the left one is called jomon, southern type, and is aboliginial japanese. the right side is called yayoi, and is from the continent.
present day japanese are mixture of the 2 types so we have features from both. on the other hand, koreans have continental north asian features exclusively, so they look similar to the woman in the right of the picture.
about personality, korean people are very wild, emotional, speak laudly, cries, screams, etc. they believes that they have to express their feeling in very strong way. they are tend to try to act like westerners. they eat things with their mouths keeping open so they made terrible noise during eating.
on the other hand, japanese people ashame to express ones emotion in strong way. we choose smaller expression. japanese people do not like to state things clearly, trying not to hurt ur emotion.
in the situation when a westener wud say like "no, i dont like ur idea", instead to that, japanese man wud say like "oh, ur idea is nice. thats reasonable, i guess. but i worry a little bit maybe if...." or so on
this is an example of japanese non-verbal communication:
a japanese man cud ask u to go to eat something together without actual intention. he just want u to feel closer to him, not really want to go together. in this case, u should answer like this: "thank you very much for the invitation. but today i'm a bit busy, so someday later?"
when some1 offers u an invitation, u need to b carefully find out whether he really want u to g o together, or hes just tryin to make u feel closer to him. theres very subtle difference

when koreans speak english language, they are not good @ pronouce distinctly z (of zagreb), j (of japan), ch (of church). i guess if a korean try to speak yugoslav languages, he wud pronounce z (zagreb), ž (zupa), ð (djordje), è (cacak), æ (cevapi) randomly. they usually confound voiced and voiceless consonants. they pronounce "-er" (of brother) like "oe" (of toe).
they also cannot pronouce correctly v (vietnam) and f (fiction). instead they use b (balkan) and p (point) respectively.
when japaneses speak english, we r not good @ distinctly pronouce r(of roof) and l(of london). its also difficult to pronouce a consonant which is not followed by a vowel. in the most cases an extra vowel (u or o) can be inserted after the consonant. hence "balkan" cud be pronouced like "barukan". we also are not good @ stressing vowels correctly.
we cannot pronouce correctly v (vietnam) so we use b (balkan) instead. sometime f (fiction) and wh (what) are pronouced like voiceless counterpart of croatian v (vojvoda).

yea. I have a lot of Korean exchange students here in my school. They spit all the time and talk quite loudly, even in libraries. They also tend to be quite rude sometimes.
