Thats a problem thats due to human expansion more so than meat consumption. The ease with which animals are bred now is also a problem.
Btw, increased consumption of meat has also resulted in a higher rate of male hair loss and also increased height. This was especially pronounced in Japan in the aftermath of WWII. When meat eating increased due to outside influence (in a historically rice eating society) Japanese people started growing much more but also began to experience hair loss, which was almost unheard of prior.

Being a vegan or vegetarian still means male pattern baldness occurs at the same rate. So the excess of DHT must have been developed through generational genetics.

Without entering into a 'tragedy of the commons' scenario , there is plenty of meat, even a surplus.
And honestly, how much do you attribute the aforementioned problems to meat consumption? I can think of many more immediate reasons.

Well, potatoes, rice, peas, lentils etc is not the most exciting food either.

I think the bigger problem is that in the West nothing is natural anymore the way it use to be. Basically only vegetables/fruits are. The rest, seem to be f'ed around with. You can't eat almost any food outside of that that is made the same way than how it use to be. Food is more powerful than any drugs we take. That is what people don't realize. For hair loss, they have solutions today though. They basically use your own hair (from the back, etc) (assuming you are not a person prone to going completely bald) and that is a permanent solution.
