If his statement angered the "liberal/progressive" population of New York, what Djopkovic should have said is the following:
"Andy Roddick probably has HIV/AIDS or some other STD. Every tiem one sees him he's playing with his testicles. Inflamation of the testicles is a common sign of STD's. I think he should spend less time with whores and prostitutes."

Im watching Djokovic vs Federer now. The crowd is cheering even when he just does a fault. They're also yelling out right when he's about to serve. Djokovic Confronts CrowdThis is for all the smart, cool people that have been defending him. Even Djokovic apologized and said he felt bad in the end. Already read that article before i defending him and still did

Yo Croats Roddick telling Croats to shut the F**K up. Yelling into the stands in a tense tiebreaker against Ljubicic fans at the USO (it’s about 6 min 40 secs in). Andy was 21. And the Croats here said "unsportsmanlike" about Nole? LOL

They're also yelling out right when he's about to serve. That's because he beat their guy. They'll get over it.

Roddick is one of the biggest hotheads on the ATP tour, that has always been the case.

Case and point;
Jelena's match was good to both players. Jelena is never a bitch, and she is fun on court.. kind of what djokovic WAS last year. Nobody booed Jelena, interrupted her, etc. It's because Jelena didn't give anyone a reason, even though they wanted Serena to win they wouldn't pull dirty shit on Jelena.
Djokovic on the other hand gave the crowd every reason to dislike him. All he had to do, was eat shit for 2 minutes... by pretending he was happy, love the American crowd, and not say anything about roddick. That way the crowd would not have been so hostile, but he obviously had to blow off steam like a kid.
Everybody who says otherwise is stupid.

How close was Jelena? A great match, a real shame she didn't extend it one more set. She would have won in 3 too, she is in much better condition than Serena.

Didn't hear much booing during the Federer match.
Everything went back to normal, it was just a spur of the moment sort of thing with the whole Roddick postmatch booing.
Djokovic has a different sense of humour than what the Americans consider to be funny, his remmark was lost in translation. He wasn't even angry when he said it or anything.
Credit for having balls to say whats on his mind. If tennis is lacking anything its personality ala Federer and Nadal.
God it feels good to be right.
