And not to fond of the euro style blinkers on the left side of the steering wheel. But if i find a good priced one i might get one.. dunno Nice selection of cars, some of them Prelude ones are real nice looking...dont know about performance. Nissan Lancers are alright. Get the Prelude if you like FWD cars that are reliable.
Get the BMW if you're into RWD. Both are about the same in dependability and fun.

Honda's like to rev and are susceptible to failure if the previous owners have not changed the oil on a regular basis. The parts are generally more expensive than the BMW.
After owning a 7 series, I have found these cars to be bullet proof in the engine department. As mentioned before, parts are cheaper, the car is easier to work on and will last longer.
If you go the 3 series, then look for the 320, 328 or 330 engine packages. You won't be sorry.

Well i've known ppl with alfa romeo and 200,000 km without a single problem, but thats about pure luck rather than the true statistical image of the brand. In reliability surveys (biased or not), usually after the first (3-5 or so) positions occupied by Japanese makers, then follow the euro rivals. Especially in the era of variable timing and electronic Engine mgmt, where electronic components reliability is essential (Bosch vs Denso), Japs have climbed on the reliability scales. Also, i think for honda you will find more ECUs, more free software (hondata) (to blow up your engine!). With a simple N/A subaru i was able to buy a OBDII<->USB interface and monitor/set several runtime parameters of the engine from the laptop. (on the *stock* ECU, on how many cars can you do that?) In Serbia/BiH, most probably due to lead in the benzin, i had two CELs, one from a Lukoil station in coridor X to Krusevac, and the second from the OMV in Brcko. I deleted both with the laptop lol! Hey skoric. also check out the new Mitsu Lancer Ralliart (the small version of the Evo), it just kicks!! (when you have the money...)

I swear by Honda's. They've been nothing but good to me for the past 10 years. I bought a Honda Civic 2008 this past winter and I love it to death.
