It is historically recorded that the "serbs" entered the balkans in the 7th century, thus you aren't illyrians, although there might be some illyrian in you from the usual mixing. Just like we Montenegrins might have some slight black genes from the Saracen slaves that came to Montenegro thousands of years ago. Nigga plz

As far as I'm concenred all that matters today is reality, and reality today is Serbs are Serbs. There is a large group of people who identify as Serbs, and that's enough. That's all I really need to know about them.

Serbs arn't illyrians but the illyrian gene is found, in high concentration in Bosnia and Croatia, not albania where apparently its the lowest. And in which sience fiction movie didi this happen Whith what blood was compared? I wonder where you get this stuff

No one is of Illyrian blood today so why does it matter? Regardless of what Albanians (or anyone else) might think, your blood cannot be more then 25% Illyrian which means you're at least 75% of something else and lets not mention that you don't know the Illyrian language or Illyrian traditions/customs. Anyway, who wants to claim the heritage of a tribe so pathetic they were easily assimilated by migrating tribes. If your ADN would change now by 1.6 percent you would be a Chimp.(Although I think you have a smaller Difference) 25% I dont know what kind of allien kind of microb would you be Just save me the crap talk ok?

And in which sience fiction movie didi this happen Whith what blood was compared? I wonder where you get this stuff What he meant to say is the genes associated with the ancient pre-slavic inhabitants of these parts are I2a2. Associated with the "dinarics", and obviosly the dinaric mountains are smack dab in the country. and those haplogroups (Specificly I2a2, not just "I" which is a broader category) are found in BIH and Dalmatia in huge amounts. More then anywhere else. It's not "illyrian gene" they way misinformed people on this forum think, thats not how genetics works. It's simply the markers associated with thse pre slavic peoples, aka various tribes who fall under the "Illyrian" umbrella. its a pretty simple concept, nothing too amazing or "science fiction". Bosnian Serbs have the least of it because a large part of their population is not native to Bosnia (Vlachs and Serbians from Serbia, Montenegro etc.). Bosniaks and Bosnian Croats in Herzegovina have it the most. Herzegovina around Mostar is the center of I2a2, 50-75%. The farther north in Bosnia you go the less it, like 40%. for obvious reasons. The obvious conclusion is, Bosniaks and Bosnian Croats have pretty much the same origin and are more alike to eachother then anyone else, in other words one people who went different ways cuz of religion and catholic influence from croatia and austria. Which is fine, that's how it is and that's how it'll say for the most part. Political identity is a feeling and a conciousness, and thats what they feel like. And also that besides language, slavic influence is minnimal in Bosnia-Herzegovina. It's basicly the same stuff Austrian and German anthropologists stated and Bosniak (and even some Croatian and Albanian) historians have been saying. Some people hate to hear this but oh well. there is alot of idiots twisting stuff online, using genetics and outdated anthropological jibber jabber though. But wether you belive in genetics at all (dont see why not, again theres nothing too complex here to not belive), one thing is that every study here has given prety much the same resuls. and that's not an accident or a conspiracy. There is a ton of historical material to support the findings anyway. The undeniable fact is all Balkan people BIOLOGICLY have their base in these ancient peoples. Some just more then others. However, again. Albanians are the sole inheritors of the ancient Illryian (or thraco-Illyrian) languages and CULTURAL aspects. Bosnians only have a small amount of solid cultural inheritance from Illyrians.

This is irrelevant, becuase you're comparing apples and oranges here. Not related to the type of findings and genetic work mentioned here. We're all humans so ultimatly we're all the SAME, in that aspect. But we're not talking about something so wide and broad here. We're talking about smaller differences, which as you can see in our life and world, end up actualy being huge differences. Blacks and Whites are the same human beings, same on paper, yet still as you can see through history, those tiny differences on paper, become huge differences in reality. I mean would you say you have the same heritage as a Nigerian? Come from the same "blood"? Of course not, and neither would he.

Isn't the term "Serbian Illyrianism" an oxymoron and the same as saying "same difference"?

the fact that you would even bring something like that up shows how confused you really are. Well it's a known fact of Montenegrin history, not to mention interesting. So why not?

in 1991 john wilkes (Wilkes is the foremost LIVING authority on the Illyrians) said that bosnians are of illyrian decend. ten years after ALBANIAN accademics agreed with him: Kaplan Resuli, Fatos Lubonja, Ardian Qosi and Ardian Vebiu also other experts worlwide like: Paul, Hirt, Weigand, Tomashek, Georgiev, Pushcariu and many others. And then we got the genetic facts from Igenea, genograpic and familytreedna.
