Give us your routine and why you're working out (sport specific, bitches, etc).
This is a serious thread.

5x a week I do bodyparts the rest I have as rest days which I devote entirely to cardio. I used to do it routinely but last semester overwhelmed me and I stopped going for about 3 months, Im starting again now.
Monday - Back + Abs Tuesda - Bis Wednesday - Chest Thursday - Tris + Abs Fri - Legs Sat + Sun - Cardio + Abs and rest
I work out mainly because I want to stay in shape. I was a lazy ass much of my young life and now I want to make up for it. I really want to be in good shape now but I couldnt follow into basketball (which would have been more natural for me) due to knee problem which I have (I can't even run for too long a period without it hurting and I was warned that it would do more damage in the long-term. I can ride a bike or do other cardio so long as it doesnt involve stopping down). So I figured working out is a good way to makeup for that.

I have a number of trainer friends and many of the people I know at my gym work out that way. Sat and Sun are not to much pressure for me and I feel I get enough rest on those days to recover.
It doesnt feel as serious as it sounds, Im in for about 1hr a day, 1hr:30 at most if I want to go on the bike for a bit or add in some abs.

Interesting. I workout 1 day on, 1 day off, Full body... specifically it's training for track and field. Those types of schedules where you work back/arms/abs/chest etc on separate days is bodybuilder training, it's not very effective for sports. I recommend you all do cleans/jerks/snatches. And you'll look like Ivan Soitsov

^^ Monster! lol
Abs for me are the hardest to fit into any schedule. Its the one Im most concerned with but I find those workouts awkward. I borrowed my friends workout tape for Abs (a 20min 3x a week) which Im trying to memorize all the ruitiness but Im often lazy with them.

Used to go to gym 4-5 days a week but now do every other day. Just basic bench press, squat, deadlifts, etc. I cut in the summer after bulking in the winter.

I just started working out. Wanna get rid of my man-boobs. Now that I graduated I’m thinking of going back to training TKD.

^ For 4 years now I've been hitting the gym. My routine sort of consists of this;
Every day I'm there - Cardio, 40 min. Run, 20 min. Bike
Mon - Arms (Bicep, Tricep, Shoulders) Tue - Chest, Back Wed - Abs, Sides Thur - Arms again (Have to rest for two days since last workout) Fri - Chest, Back (Have to rest for two days since last workout) Sat - Free day, do whatever you want to (Sometimes I just give it a rest and run for 1 hr, bike for 40 mins, and go home)
That's basically it. Sunday is my rest day, so no workout then.

You know when you're driving on the highway, and you see one of those dead animals?
Well you pull over, and you try to lift it.

Have been lifting weights for the past 5 years now. I am 187cm tall and weigh in at 100kg. Have a 18inch arm size (Y).
Here is my routine (i change the routine every 8 weeks because eventually the body gets used to it and you really want to "shock" the body for optimum growth)
Day1: Chest - 5 x exercises, 4 sets/exercise, 8-10 reps/set Day2: Biceps - 4 x exercises, 4 sets/exercise, 8-10 reps/set + a burner exercise at the end (high reps) Day3: rest Day4: Shoulders - 4 x exercises, 4 sets/exercise, 8-10 reps/set + a burner exercise at the end (high reps) Day4: Traps - 3 x exercises, 4 sets/exercise, 8-12 reps/set Day5: Triceps - 4 x exercises, 4 sets/exercise, 8-10 reps/set + a burner exercise at the end (high reps) Day6: rest Day7: rest
This routine I do is very demanding as the weight I lift causes me to go my fullest. For instance when I do benchpress, my 4 sets look like this: 120kg x 8, 110Kg x 8, 100kg x 8 and 90kg x 8. Pretty much all of my exercises for all of the body parts are carried out in that manner.
The good side to this is that I look like a f**king tank. It is what keeps me going. I take no supplements or drugs. Tried protein shakes and createne for some time but quite after 2 months as I could not see any extra results as compared to when I just eat well and healthy.
