Vlachs were the semi-nomadic Serbian Shepherd class who venerated their Shepherd Class of God Vlesi or Veles/Volos. There was a code found in the Ukraine for the Vlachs as the book of the Vlesi? Can't remember off the top of my head! In the Serbian language, Pleiades are called Vlašići or Sedam vlašića (Sedam = seven). While the name is identical to "Little Vlachs" ("Seven little Vlachs"), this is a folk etymology, and it is in fact derived from the Slavic god of cattle and underworld, Veles.
