Achieving Serbian support of ties with Kosovo, unlikely - Kosovar official Politics 3/13/2009 12:29:00 AM SARAJEVO, March 12 (KUNA) -- Speaker of Kosovo's Parliament Jakup Krasniqi on Thursday, denied the possibility of the success of the task taken upon by Head of the outgoing United Nations mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) Lamberto Zanier of achieving closer viewpoints between Serbia and Kosovo. In an interview with KUNA, Krasniqi said that Serbia has gone to all lengths to undermine the independence of Kosovo, which would make it hard for the country's leaders to back out of this position fed by Serbian public opinion and Serb media. Krasniqi underlined his country's welcoming of warm neighbourly relations with Serbia based on mutual respect and recognition of Kosovar independence. He added that Kosovo has never taken an opposing stance on Serbia despite the crimes he claimed it has taken out on the Albanian minority on its lands. Serbia would only back out of its position regarding Kosovo, if it finds itself urged to do so for the sake of improving regional stability according to demands from the European Union (EU). The parliament speaker expressed the view that Serbia would not be able to complete demands for EU membership, unless it carried out extreme changes in its policy aimed at destabilizing the stability and security of its neighbouring countries. (end) aa.sd KUNA 130029 Mar 09NNNN Another delusional Albanian politician thinking that he can somehow sway the EU into making new demands on Serbia for its own gains.

Unbelieveable, his blaming Serbia for its disgraceful situation. Krasnich needs to look inward into to the poverty stricken people, 70% unemployed is disaster.
"He added that Kosovo has never taken an opposing stance on Serbia despite the crimes he claimed it has taken out on the Albanian minority on its lands."
Hang on, what about calls for boycotoni towards serbia? and the unilateral independance?.

Declaring independence is not an opposing stance buddy, just the will of 2 million (majority) people of Kosovo.
As for boycotting the goods of Serbia, until they recognize the new reality, the govt has that right to boycott anything from Serbia.

I hope they boycott electricity, gas and water as well. In fact, Serbia should put a blockade on the Pristina Parasites thus having an embargo on everyone who trades with the Pristina Parasites.
