Basically gradual shift from south central Anatolia towards Caucasus over the centuries to acquire present shape first noticeable in the last map ("Map of the Armenian Oblast within the Russian Empire.")
Conclusion:
-Newcomer Ottomans wiped out many 'aboriginal' Armenians (In Anatolia) -Russian occupation spells out eventual Armenian state.
