I have nothing against Croats, we've gotten along and usualy been allies in most conflicts. Even in this one we were except for that shorter conflict which broke out in Central Bosnia. That wasn't over some "ancient hate", just teritory. Croats even fought other Croats lol.

Gosh, stop being such an ustasa MiG.... Good God man! LOOK AT YOUR ROOTS!! YOU TRAITOR!!! I have nothing against Croats, we've gotten along and usualy been allies in most conflicts. As is the way in every conflict when disagreements come to the table. Bosniaks fought each other too. So what's your point? His point is that everyone has bad seeds, and idiots. I think.

My point was just that, regardless of ethnicity or hate, sometimes there was just conflict over teritory and different goals.
That I don't HATE CROATS. In general I think there's alot more hate between Serbs and Bosniaks then Croats and Bosniaks.
And yes what MIG said.

I have nothing against Croats, we've gotten along and usualy been allies in most conflicts. Which conflicts? WW2 and the current one? The only reason Croats and Muslims are allies is because they both worked to undermine and seperate from Yugoslavia. Same reason why Croats are good with Siptars, although I think they like them even better (no conflict of interest there whatsoever).

Yea well everyones alliances are born out of historical and political goals, nothing wrong there. Generaly in History Bosnia proper was closer to Croatia in terms of influence (according to historians i've read anyway). Even our leaders were called Ban's while Serbs called their Tsar and stuff like that.

OK maybe, but that's medieval Bosnia, that's not Bosniaks or Bosnian Muslim. Throughout Ottoman rule, most of the wars were fought against Catholics. Serbs and Bosniaks were the ones who shared life together under the Ottomans while most Croats were under the Habsburgs. Prior to Yugoslavia coming into existence, Serbs and Muslims were much closer to each other than to Croats. Croats were closer to (Krajina and Vojvodina) Serbs too than to Muslims because they lived together in the Habsburg Empire. The current 'sympathy' between Croats and Muslims is purely a product of Yugoslavia, of common interests in WW2 and the most recent war.

That may be so, but its quite often somebody from ex-Yugo stops me in NY and asks me where I am from, or if Im Croatian/Serb/Bosnian?Monte., and in all occasions when it has been a Croat and I replied with a "No, Im Albanian", it has been followed with either "I hope you people will be free"(b4 the declaration) and "Im glad Kosova is finally independent" (after the declaration).

Obviously you were just trying to find a reason to share that with us... because it does nothing to contradict or clarify what I said initially... perhaps it's just meant to reinforce my statement, in which case you shouldn't have started your sentence the way you did

Srsly MAPKO, stop using such a broad, college oriented dictionary. You're confusing some of your peoples.

If that's advanced vocabulary then I am exceedingly proficient in the English language.
