Hope it gets built... if Croats can elect Zeljko Komsic, what else should they expect 1. Croats didnt elect Zeljko Komsic 2. This project is nothing but wishful thinking on the part of the Bosniaks. It has been proposed many times before ... and everytime it was been rejected. I wouldnt hold your breath.

Mostar is built around the Stari Most and construction should represent this tradition. The modern looks are supposed to fit the west part of the city.

I think Mostar has enough Religious Icons and Centres, why not use the money to repair a broken city, and give the youth something to look forward too, maybe build some universities, or get the factories working again.
Religion is becoming an Evil, we are killing each other and living our lives by ideals invented by others somtimes centuaries ago!

The bosniaks in the Hercegovina region are actually in decline. Just a few months ago, their mufties or whatever they are called warned their people of this. Also the geograhical region of Mostar is surrounded by Croat majority towns and villages. So u can almost call it a bosniak encave. In general people gravitate towards bigger towns and cities ... so it is only natural that more and more Croats in the vicinity will move towards Mostar in order to find jobs, better standards of living etc etc. Another thing to note is that the Republic of Croatia has numerous projects in Mostar which will on faciliate this Croat migration such as the Building of the University complex which is already well under way. This too will further encourage students in the region esp. the Croats ones (only Croat university in BiH) to move to the city for education and ultimately boost the Croat population in the city.

I think Mostar has enough Religious Icons and Centres Obviously it does not. , why not use the money to repair a broken city, It is illegal to use money of donators for other purposes. and give the youth something to look forward too, That is exactly what is being done here. maybe build some universities, Done. or get the factories working again. Don’t be silly, Bosnia is free from the communists, factories are now built by investors and not donators. Religion is becoming an Evil, I strongly disagree. Lack of respect for other peoples religion is evil. we are killing each other and living our lives by ideals invented by others somtimes centuaries ago! No that is what cetniks do, I encourage serbs to rebuild their church in Mostar.

What Serbs? They have all been thrown out The idea is that all refuges should return from where they where expelled. We should never accept (= reward) ethnic cleansing.

I think that would be great too, But do you think Serbs will come back to a divided town, where Croats and Muslims still distrust each other and try to out do each other with ridiculously large symbols of faith? When the Iman starts to sing his Prayers in the morning, the Catholic churches start to ring their bells, it seems in spite, to see who can be the loudest, its very sad, i have seen and heard it with my own eyes and ears.

They should return. It is their city too. And they would gain much power since it would be up to them to balance the 2 ethnic power blocks in Mostar. In fact I believe their presence would draw and re-connect many moderate bosniaks and croats to a non-ethic policy. When the Iman starts to sing his Prayers in the morning, the Catholic churches start to ring their bells, it seems in spite, to see who can be the loudest, its very sad, i have seen and heard it with my own eyes and ears. I strongly disagree, I don’t se the church bells and the ezan as opponents, it is the Bosnian way of life, I see them as the best side of Bosnia; a multi-religious society worth dying for.

Yes, with a little problem, that the 50% of BiH population don't give a rats ass about this country. For them, maybe it makes sense to say that they would think of dying only if it was to end this joke named BiH.

Yes, with a little problem, that the 50% of BiH population don't give a rats ass about this country. Mathematically impossible since 64% voted in favour of the independence of Bosnia-Hercegovina. For cetniks and ustase, maybe it makes sense to say that they would think of dying only if it was to end this Gods miracle named BiH. They should move out or die as soon as possible in order to prevent further disappointments in life since Bosnia is here to stay.

We should make for the construction of the double the number of mosques that we had before the war. We do not need more factories. Even if people die from hunger, this is a good thing. Seen as they will go to Paradise all the sooner.
