Chalkedon I seriously doubt Pyrros belongs to the people you are seeking for. If someone is restricted on his very views its him.
Nevertheless from my side its enough with the denunciations directed to him...after all thats only a forum and since I know he is a very "neurikos anthropos" (typical Epirote)...Im ready to give him a second chance from my side...which everyone deserves. I mean he can go on having such an opinion and attitude on Serbs.....he just musnt force them on others. Thats it all. Its all about tolerance. If he all had the same views forums wouldnt exist and since Pyrros is a frequent visitor of these forums I guess he likes different-minded people...and if its only to convert them. Pyrros sth else, if you really want to convince people of your attitude then do it in a much less intrusive way...you will never convince anyone if you are pushy...in fact you are accomplishing the quite opposite...you see it yourself.

You missed the target again by miles away. Kastor, please stop adding noise to things you dont understand.
You said Novi was sceptical about me, now you try to apply your silly micro-politics on Chalkedon..
If you dont have nothing to add, spend your time in another thread.

You got the message Pyrro. There is nothing more to say. I dont know what i should say here really. I never thought that examining TRUE, REAL issues of MODERN hellenism would result in accusations, demonizations, personal insults. God help us....

Let's get educated shall we!!! Albanians, Arvanites (Arbanites) since greeks can not pronounce the 'B', Aranut, Albanese=Shqiptar which is the oldest name we have used. Albans was the tribe which was the strongest that survived the Slavic invasion, so after the fall of the Illyrian empire and the Dardans (Kosovars) and Iliridina's (Macedonia), Arvanites (Arbanites) Greece. Arvanites are Albanians, and Albanians are Arvanites. There are the old Dorian Arvanites, there are the Arvanites that migrated there from time to time, but the places where today are still being spoken Arvanitika, has been always populated by Arvanite-Albanian people from ancient time, this is not a mystery, and people should not act shocked. Also check the names and last names, when we remove the 'S'is nothing but Albanian names. Also let's watch these for those greeks that understand Arvanitika. ARVANITET-ARBEROR NJI POPULL I HARRUAR Video by LIRIO NUSHIvideo.google.com/videoplay?docid=-107618950159345071 Let's not forget the 600 years old song from Arvanitas of Morea (Peloponesi) who went to Italy and still to this day sing in Arvanitka. Klaj me ljot nder si moj More moj Arberi
Please put religion aside in these discussions, as they are just ideologies and we are trying to talk about something bigger than that.

I read some of the first few pages and I just want to add something.
Have you guys stopped to think that maybe, just maybe "Greeks" and Albanians are the same people? Maybe, just maybe even at one point spoke the same language? Maybe, just maybe conquered the world together, invented democracy, and what ever else. The similarities between are just too much and the interlinged history of it's ours-it's not yours, maybe is both of ours. What if, Albanians and Greeks have always been the same people. Ancient Greeks represented by the Arvanites. And Greeks of the diaspora by the Kione speakers(the language fo the Church)
Just saying.

The title is quite misleading. Suffice is to say that during XIXth century most of Epirus was held by the Albanians. As a matter of fact, the most distinguished Epirote heroes who took part on the turmoils against Ottoamans were indiscriminately Albanians. One does not whether to cry or laugh with some Greek historians who try to pass out as truth their cheap propaganda making some Muslim Albanians (from Epirus) as Greeks by twisting their names into Greek ones

Epirus was originally dominated by three Greek tribes. The Molossians were said to be descended from Molossos, and were classed by Strabo as the most famous of the fourteen tribes of Epirus. All the Greek tribes of Epirus were of Hellenic origin. To their north were the Chaonians, who appear to have been dominant prior to the arrival of Neoptolemus, and to the south-west was the kingdom of the Thesprotians, on the coast. All three tribes formed the most powerful elements of the previous smaller tribes in the region. At first, it seems that the (semi-legendary) early kingdom of Epirus formed by Mycenaeans probably equated only to the central regions of the later Epirote kingdom, the region held by the Molossians themselves.
