uauuuuu This article seems to oppose completely Wilkes and his theory that "Albanians are short and Dark therefore they have nothing in common with Illyrians, who were tall and blond"!!! PS: how come? I have grown up in Albania and most Albanians look Mediterranean Strange because the majority of the Albanian people I have met have at a blondish-brown hair and are more fair in complexion. Most Meds have olive complexion and dark brown to black hair. Complete opposite of most Albanians I have met. Now I am curious as to the differences(physical attributes) between the Northern and Southern Albanian if any at all?

Albanians that I have seen have more Mediterranean features; (short, dark-brown hair....) it's true, there are some blonds and albinos and sometimes green or blue eyes, but it's not dominant. Also the black hair it's highly appreciated. That's why most of girls tend to dye the hair black in blue.
North and South: the difference is that the North people (Ghege) are taller and slim while the South (Tosk) are shorter and fat....and tend to create a huge belly (stomach) after the 35th birthday....
