[ C'mon be realistic. Serbian army has weapons from 70's and 80's but Albania has weapons from 50's. We are realistic. 50's were very good in defense tech. At least Albania wasn't bombed into rubble by the same group of nations Serbia is now begging to join in their club. Have you no limits to the depths you'd sink to just to join their EU club. lolol..

Lol. Albania was only invited to join NATO. So far only a few of NATOs members have ratified the relevant documents. Not only that but chances are that those countries opposed to Kosovo's independence that are NATO members will oppose expansion should Serbia's ruling go to the ICJ because then Albania would probably use the situation to cause a new war. Only you would link Albania's NATO membership with Kosovo. Totally irrelevant as some countries who have not recognized Kosovo are the biggest supporters of Albania joining NATO. Yes both Greece and Spain have voiced their support for Albania including Romania.

Serbia is deluded to think it has the same power to take over Kosovo and that Albanians are in the same position as during 1997. If back at our weakest we got NATO to bomb your economy into rubles and embarass you in front of the world. Having your president and most of your political elite dragged down to Hague for war crimes.
Yea not so tough you guys when jets are flying over Belgrade. Those 70's weapon no more in use anymore and pathetic chance to win against guerrila warfare let alone another equivalent army.

Seriously guys, this is ridiculous comparing the Serbian army to the Albanian. It would be like comparing the US army to the Serbian.

That was a mistake that NATO now started to pay... 92-95 events led to 1999, 1999 led to Spring 2008 , Spring 2008 led to August 2008, August 2008 led to the financial crisis of September 2008, .... and the developments are running faster.... Wanna learn who will be the BIG losers out of all this? Russia? definitely NO USA? maybe yes EU? hmmm ALBANIA/KOSOVO? damn YES!!! Thats where the lack of income will be felt first!

i remember those times vividly, its was just chaotic, everyone so paranaoid, fighting over nothing, noone understodd what the conflict was about, it was indicative of a society in turmoil, no real leadership and its the bi-product of 50 years of living in dark ages, when we emerged out of communism, we were at least 50 years behind then yugoslavia, let alone europe, the country has come a long way since then but still a mountain to climb, i think that throughout history, the main issue with albanians have been albanians themselves, our stubbornes and unwillingness for rules and laws, this is why we were incapable of creating a state when it was time to.

"how do 50 years of isolation and fierce distatorship sound to you biachface? "
I think I will go with dictatorship over losing my grandparents in the war...
"Srbija 28.000 Crna Gora 2.100 Albanija 15.400 Rumunija 90.000 Bugarska 39.000 Maðarska 24.000 Hrvatska 17.600 BiH 10.000 Makedonija 6.800 "
Seems pretty normal to me, it corresponds to populations numbers. At 30,000 Serbian army would have about the same number of soldiers as Austria which has a very similar population to serbia at 8 million. The Idea is to have a professional core (the 30,000) by 2010. In case of war almost a million reservists or men with previous military experience can be called upon to serve. One of the LF Brigades will be equiped so that it will be more flexible for oversea deployments or so they say.

The stock exchange was already in a bubble and a 30% fall was expected -- the Georgianw ar and lower energy prices protracted the situation. also. Unlike the U.S. only 1% of Russians own stocks (in America it's around 35%+) and a very small percentage of the economy is linked to the stock market.

Radovic, thanks for saving my time to answer to TITO, who instead of the real world, he probably lives in his own hatred world. tito does not wish to comprehend that stock market values incorporate fuzzy concepts such as public trend, public perception and expectations of future earnings of a company.
Such factors do not exist in production-intensive economies.
So, even if the Moscow stock market shuts down and RTS decreases to 0, the Russian economy will be vivid and well as hell.
got it tito?
