One of my friends has just graduated from Turkish cadet academy and been being trained with war crafts for almost 3 years. What he said to me a few weeks ago was that those F-4 warcrafts were called 'flying bricks' that can break down anytime on the air ;D Turkey is willing to renew all its air forces within 3 years and it's decided that even the F-16 superfighters will be sold out during this process. The current aircrafts will probably be sold or donated either to Bosnia, or Albania, I guess.

The Albanians think they stand a chance with us. They tell us we cannot fight and our technology will not matter. This reminds me of a few Afghan and Iraqi people i knew, they said the exact same thing. We all know what happened in the end. Afghanistan and Iraq lost the war. Same thing will happen to Albania. If I where you guys I would make friends with us other then provoking our Nation and History.

First time Im hearing of Iraqi's and Afghan's being the instigators of the wars. And to go a little deeper, which wars?
And when comparing us to Afghan warriors, keep in mind that Afghanistan is considered to be an "unconquerable country" because of its terrain and nature of the people.
Your ignorance is amazing.... now crawl back from whence you came...

I was talking about the war on terror. The invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan is no unconquerable country neither is Albania or any country.
Since we are talking about Albania i would have to say Greece.

And you would call this "war on terror" a success story?
And people do call Afghanistan an unconquerable country... Im not the one who made up the title.

Terrorists support terrorists just like Christian killers support Christian killers you people make me sick. Why was i not expecting this. They can call Afghanistan what ever they want but its not unconquerable.

Albania wants friendly relations with Greece. Albania acquiring some F-4's is not a threatening gesture toward Greece. And how can someone "provoke" another's history! Greek history belongs to one people: Greeks. You should not worry about our history. No one is going to take it.

The war on terrorism will not be over for a very long time. Therefore, calling it a success or not is premature.

The war on terrorism will not be over for a very long time. Therefore, calling it a success or not is premature. The U.S. [redicted after 9/11 that the war on terror would likely last 50 years. That means it will continue until 2051 at the earliest.

What ever makes you happy. Just think the Greeks as the British introducing the Gatling to you the African Zulu. Fifty thousand dead in fifteen minutes. I can state numerous other examples were technology played its part. By the way those examples you gave where because of Political problems and the terrain of the country. Albania has mountains but nothing like Afghanistan, does Albania have deep forests? simple no. It would take one day to invade that penniless and useless country of yours. You dont even have any special forces. And you claim you are better fighters and soldiers then us. Greece is in the top twenty five best fighting forces.

Oh LOL 1st, technology does matter when you know how to fight. 2nd, Albania does have deep forests, mountains. Everything that makes it hard to invade. 3rd, Albania does have special forces. 4th, Please if greeks are that good fighters, why did our navy rox your's when our navy is a joke? 5th, why did we own you in the small 'war' around 50-60 years ago? Stupid mongrel, get out of this forum. Nigger.

Look at the Albanian. He is racist to 'black people' when he is a 'Turkalbanian' Mohammad man. What small war are you insane? Like i said Albanians neither have the technology or the skills to fight. Keep dreaming buddy.

We expelled all Turks after the Greko-Turkish War. How did you stay pure by accepting Islam? Greek1234, what in the world do you mean? If someone is Muslim, that person is not pure? And how do you use the word "pure" in your statement? The Albanians were forced to take Islam by the Turks, as did many thousands upon thousands of Greeks.

We were rarely forced into adopting it -- although there were many such times when rebellious Albanian villages were persuaded into converting -- we actually took it because of the advantages it brought: ability to move up the Ottoman system and become quite wealthy in return, no taxation, almost no colonization from Anatolia. What happened? Men like Ali Pasha and KaraMahmud came about... Men who came closer to creating their own state on without western support then Greeks and Serbs could have ever hoped. Remember one thing though: we were the last to fall to them...
