Given that the debate about Krkic has gone into a thread about the three-finger salute I decide to post something idiotic I heard on tv. On tv I heard some Serb nationalist claim Tadic is a freemason: The argument was he prays like this, not the proper fashion -- i.e. no closed fingers. Given that the supposed "Chetnik salute" -- actually a general Christian symbol -- has been used in masonic rituals the man started claiming Tadic is a freemason and went on to say "Vuk Draskovic introduced the symbol into popular usage in 1990 and he is a freemason."

Does he arthritis or something? If he crosses himself like that then he cant be an Orthodox Christian and that’s all I need to know.

its a religious hate symbol used by those who committed some of the worst war crimes seen since WW2.

U mean the Victory salute? With good reason! Yeah, Croats really love celebrating how they committed "the worst atrocities in Europe since WW2."

I thought in this day and age that the Ustasa were a thing of the past. Am I missing something here? Has Pavelic arisen miraculously from the grave? Does this mean that Hitler is maybe not far behind. How bizarre.

Lol I didn't know Jesus was committed some of the worst war crimes seen since WW2. Since according to your logic that must mean that the Catholic church must approve of these war crimes, given that a common Catholic depiction of Jesus contains the symbol ;D: Lol I didn't know that the Popes personal guard, the Swiss Guard, took part and condoned these war crimers ;D:

Actuall Chetniks used the closed fingers, below is a picture of Chetniks from WWII: Historically Serb fighters used the closed fingers, until Draskovic started using it in 1990: Takovo Uprising painting.

Ustashe, Domobrans and most Catholic soldiers in the Axis used three open fingers in oath ceremonies. It wasn't a salute but just used when swearing an oath to the country and it's leader.
I believe Radovic is probably right about Vuk Draskovic starting the open 3 finger salute used by Serbs today.
