This guy Kasso is half-Bosniak and he has a muslim religious agenda. Wants us all to convert to some random religion that has nothing to do with us. We might as well all convert to buddhism.

In the 17th century, the Turks began a policy of Islamization by using, among other methods, economic incentives to convert the population... These groupings remained stable until the Communist government outlawed religion in 1967... "

Bektashis Albania - - - - 1997 Wright, David K. Albania ( "Enchantment of the World Second Series "). New York: Children's Press (1997), pg. 99. "In Albania, many people follow a version of Islam not fully in keeping with the more strict methods of worship in the Middle East. Called Bektashism, this version of Islam was founded in Asia Minor in the 1200s and includes elements of ancient pagan religions and christianity. Many Bektashis drink alcohol... Calls to prayer are irregular or nonexistent, women do not wear veils... worshipers are baptized and practice regular confession, and God is seen as a part of nature rather than a supreme being with whom a believer is in contact. Turks tried to stamp out Bektashism in Albania and Communists tried to stamp out all forms of Islam in Albania. Both failed utterly. "

So it seems that as of the year 2000, we can assume that Islam = 11.70% of the population, Eastern Orthodox – 25%, Catholic = 15% other Christians = 0.46% for a grand total of 52.16 % believers.
As of 1998 42% were non-believers which leaves 5.84 undecided / too stupid to answer the question.
What the U.S Department of State has to say about Albanian Religion.
U.S State Department on Albanian Religions.
www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/irf/2005/51536.htm“but estimates indicate that 30 to 40 percent of the population practices a religion”
According to the State Committee on Cults, during the period covered by this report, there were approximately 17 different Muslim societies and groups active in the country; some of these groups were foreign. There were 30 Christian societies, not including evangelical groups, representing more than 74 different organizations. Additionally, there are 571 Christian, Baha'i and Jehovah's Witnesses missionaries, and 379 Catholic and 115 Muslim missionaries. The largest foreign missionary groups were American, British, Italian, Greek, and Arab.
The Christian societies outnumber the Muslim societies by more than 2:1, this is not counting the Evangelical groups, just your local Catholics and Orthodox.
Islam United Kingdom 2,000,000 - - - 1994 "News In Brief " in Hinduism Today International (March 1994: Vol. 16, No. 3) The United Kingdom's two million Muslims have 28 schools, but none is state-funded, while 23 Jewish and numerous Anglican, Catholic and Methodist schools are state-funded.
The United Kingdom had an estimated 2 million muslims in it in the year 1994. I wonder how much that number has grown by? Either way, Calling Albania a muslim country is false because as of the year 2000, we only had 500,000 muslims while the UK had 2 million. You might as well call the UK a muslim country.
We had twice as many Christians as muslims and most of the population (between 50-70%) do not practice religion.
