When a non-retard thinks of Njegos, he thinks :
Montenegrin Orthodox Bishop Prince Montenegrin Poet A Man with a good sense of Morals, and a love for life Someone who loaths betrayal, and not necessarily hating islam(as some may think), but hating the fact his brothers betrayed him for Islam. A religious man, a man who put religion in front of his nationality. (Orthodoxy)
If Njegos was alive today he would be a supporter of an Independent Montenegro, for he respected Montenegrin statehood greatly, and would be strongly against the crimes Serbs did in Croatia. (Njegos saw Croats as brothers as well).
Long Live Njegos

Njegos was nothing like a chetnik nor would ever be, he just had too different of an ideology. He saw Serbs as a Religious south-slav movement. Not as an actual people.
Serbs(the ethnic group) were referred to by Montenegrins as "srblji" or "srbjanci"
Chetniks would of killed Njegos if they saw him speaking like he does (Much croatian vocab, and archaic Montenegrin)

Navedi neke primere. I ne zaboravi Njegos je pricao i pisao na Srpskom jeziku.

"O junastvu tu ne bjese zbora. Nego bjehu k sebi domamili, domamili pa ih pohvatali, jadnu nasu bracu sokolove, Dalmantince i hrabre Hrvate" - Petar II Petrovic Njegos
shonic - Dika, Zrcalo, Zrak, Kruh
"Sve se bruka čovjek sa čovjekom, gleda majmun sebe u zrcalo"
Nikad nije pisao ili pricao na srpskom jeziku, jedino sto nije postojalo, i ipak nije to kazao.
Vucigorski - Quote me one phrase where Njegos calls himself a Cetnik or speaks of Cetniks.

Cetniks didnt exist idiot. See you have no idea about any BALKAN history whatsover. I mentioned that Njegosh was a Cetnik before it was even cool, meaning they didnt exist.
The man hated Islam, he was a proud Serbian Orthodox Christian, he had a long beard like a Cetnik, he sang songs about Serbian Empires, he wished for reunification of the Serbian state............and did i mention he hated all Muslims?
Wow.......sounds exactly like a Cetnik

So then he wasn't a chetnik.
You insult Njegos' intelligence by claiming this, if your read his works more you'd see the hate is not of islam, but the betrayal of brothers. Saying he hates islam is basically calling Njegos an ignorant idiot.
Njegos was Montenegrin Orthodox, which was Autochefalus(Meaning independent), and he was proud of this fact.
He never wished for any kind of union of any empire.
Stop talking outta your guza.

Terro, im in london[Britain not aus] We have one of the biggest Montenegrin communities outside Montenegro, We have our own cafe's and community centers, so the way i feel is nothing to do with hanging around with Serbs, i do not have anything against Albanians but at the same time i have nothing in common with them, i am not going to run you down because i respect your opinon, but the fact is most Montenegrins feel the same as me, even the ones who voted for Independence.

Oh that's cool, theres a big Montenegrin community there? So why isn't there a Montenegrin Orthodox Church opened there? (Not trying to be mean, just asking)
Btw the biggest ethnic Montenegrin community outside Montenegro is in Argentina.
Oh and a note, deki I have some relatives living in London, perhaps you know them. ;D

"Btw the biggest ethnic Montenegrin community outside Montenegro is in Argentina."
Yeah all 26 of them.
"Oh and a note, deki I have some relatives living in London, perhaps you know them."
So lets get this straight...................
*Londan *America *Pristina *Risan *Podgorica *Beograd *Kotor *Bar *Ulcinj
among others.
Its very rare for an Orthodox family to have this much family in one nation, let alone 10 different ones. Sounds more Siptar or Muslims to me.............

Building a Montenegrin orthodox church would be so difficult and expensive, so they share the Russian one and the majority go to the Serbian Church, most feel like me 'Orthodox is Orthodox!' I think we have a bigger community than Argentina here, Most came over when we were still Yugoslavia and after the Second World War like my father. Many of them were Chetniks, some were Partisans and some were just trying to escape poverty and looking for a better life. But at that time they were all Yugoslavs and only now are calling themselves Montenegrin. You must face the fact that Montenegro has a massive relationship with Serbia weather you like it or not, i respect your patriotism to Montenegro, if your are Albanian or not to me its irrelevant, if a African wants to be Montenegrin he can be, but they cannot rewrite history and claim the Serbs are not our brothers.

Okay, thats understandable, but just to mind you there are at the moment 2 functioning Montenegrin Orthodox Churches in Argentina, with an estimated 50,000 ethnic montenegrins by the Argentinian government. Montenegrins in Argentina own many successful businesses and 3 towns are completely Montenegrin, one of which being named "La Montenegrina". The majority of the ethnic Montenegrins in Argentina are descendents from Zelenasi who fleed after Serbian annexation in 1919. Yes, even I myself called myself a yugoslavian when yugoslavia existed(I was a little tyke then but within yugoslavia a Montenegrin by ethnicity. And I have my reasons to not see Serbia as a brotherly state, it does not mean I hate serbs, or that I do not respect their history. I see Serbs and Serbia as spawns of Montenegro somewhat, and I look down on ideas of Serbia being superior in any way to Montenegro.
