A real shame. We were decimated by injuries and some notable absences. Nevertheless, the U19 generation is incredibly promising, so I see us making the tournament again in 2 years time.

^^He slaughtered the defense of Serbia. He was too quick and skillful to the Serbian outfit that looked out of their league last night.

We already lost to Cyprus, lol. They are playing incredible under Ladic.

We have a special weapon reserved for the Hrvatska U21s, a player who has been prolific in U19s competitions and has attracted immense interest from Barca. You will appreciate his P.O.B ;D en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danijel_Aleksi%C4%87

LOL. Cinderella story. What if he was an identical twin and his brother played on the Croatian team? And if they both wore half of a madellion...omg.

Did much less than expected. He's slowly falling off the radar after an initial great start in Holland.

There are heaps of Serbian athletes from Krajina who have the same story of ethnic cleansing at the hand of Croatia. ... basketball player Kosta Perovic springs to mind... Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Voluntarily moving to another country is not ethnic cleansing. Now if someone forced you, sure. I can pretty much guarantee you Aleksic's mother was not cleansed. I lived in Pazin most of my life.

I've had high expectations for Miki, hoping he would be the missing link upfront but it is not to be. All signs indicate he will be the next Pantelic - lots of motivation but no end product. Hope I'm wrong though.

No, I'm sure his mother left with a two-month old in fold because Belgrade has better weather and a livelier night life. Being pressured to leave because of your ethnicity is ethnic cleansing. Someone doesn't have to put a gun to your head in order for you to qualify. Fleeing out of the fear (which is how it usually happened between 1991 and 1995) counts the same.
