Actually in Tirana there's only two squares named after Scanderbeg and Mother Teresa, which is way better than the streets of Belgrade having names such as Milosevic and Mladic street. The streets are named not numbered. Some of the main ones being Rruga e Dibres, Rruga e Durrsit, Rruga e Elbasanit, Rruga e Kavajes etc. This is a yellowbook with a map and all the street names listed since you are so fascinated with street names enjoy it. www.inyourpocket.com/data/download/tirana.pdf More info of Tirana from the municpality's official website www.tirana.gov.al/. Learn about street names there as well. My first cousin was in Belgrade with some NATO meeting. From what I hear from her Slovenia was better than Serbia, and while the city of Belgrade was a nice city it faded when it came to Slovenian cities and it wasn't that much more impressive compared to Tirana. When you visit Tirana I want to hear your opinion. Till then I 'll base my opinion on what she saw.

The only time I'd visit Tirana is when I'm fed up with life and strapped with a 90kg bomb ready to take all you motherfuckers to hell with me.
I've said all I've needed to say in this topic.

Bob, i have watched the guy (Michael Palin) and in his documentary about Croatia/BIH/Serbia he was a total w**re. I almost went to the toilet to vomit. Yeah, it wasn't very flattering to any of the countries, except Croatia. I thought it was funny when he was on the boat and the Cro captain was very hesitant of crossing towards Albania - though who could blame him. That was not my problem. He could have gone to the Adriatic coast and along his emetic propaganda praise the landascape, etc.. then go to Bosnia and do the same, then go to Serbia and criticize netagively e.g. Zlatibor, or Vrnjacka Banja, but the bimbo didnt dare to show *ANY* landscape from Serbia!!! He started talking about 2 minutes about Belgrade's nightlife, and then showed 2 little serbian girls talking about nationalism. I mean that farce almost made me puke.

Bob, you're invited to come then. We got some Serb immigrants there selling food in foodstands in the streets of Tirana. They make good food. You can stuff yourself there and then decide to end your life. Take a whole bunch of your other terrorist khamikaze friends with you. The less of you in this world the better.

we live in a technology world and albanians by DNA have been proved to be one the oldest native europens on the other had i watched serbia under 21 with sweden most of them look turks to me apart from sulejmani and the keeper And where is that proof exactly? Cause looking at haplogroup numbers from both countries, 50% of Albanians are of non-European origin (haplogroups which originated in North Africa, the Middle East, and other parts of Asia). The number for Serbs is 40%... which isn't all that "great" either. But I'd really like to see the proof that Albanians by DNA have been proved to be one of the oldest native European populations.. which I just completely shot down. Some further stats: The most prevalent haplogroup in Albania is J2, which covers 24.5% of the population - who were immigrants to Europe during the Neolithic, Bronze and/or Iron ages... who for the most part came from Phoenicia and Mesopotamia (Iran)... the Middle East. The most prevalent haplogroup in Serbia is I2a in 29% of the population - considered to be one of the original European haplogroups.

The only person who looked like a Turk out of both teams was that Siptar Bajrami guy playing for Sweden. One Siptar & he was very noticeably the ugliest looking dude out of every guy on the pitch. Brilliant stat.

That's bullshit because the the Haplogroup J in the Balkans doesn't have anything to do with Turks, it was inherited from Neolithic farmers 10,000 years ago. Its been proven time and time again, there was very little mixing between Turks and the people of the Balkans. Our genes are entirely white and European.

Have you ever seen a Polak and then looked at yourself in the mirror? Or a German and looked at yourselves in the mirror. The Polish haven't been Slavs since they intermarried with the Germans, the Magyars and the Baltic Scandinavians.

An Iranian descendant pointing the finger and labeling someone to be of Turk descent. Isn't that ironic. By the way, he played an excellent game from what I read.
If the Serbs came from where the Pollaks came, and from where the Germans came; then how a Pole mixing with a German look so different from the average Serb. Is this one of those heavenly kingdoms BS fairy tales again?

Ah no, it wouldn't be ironic even if it was true. I didn't watch much of the Sweden game but hey Serbia was in the tounament for the fourth time in a row & Albania wasn't for the fourth time in a row so perhaps our Iranian origins can be attributed to our athletic superiority over Siptars who never have & probably never will make the big stage in a popular sport.

I didn't say it was inherited from the Turks LoL. The haplogroup, among other "Non-European" ones are common in most Southern European countries. And I'm also aware that it was inherited thousands of years ago from Neolithic farmers..

And can someone show me some proof, or at least the theory itself, that Serbs are of Iranian origin?

Is this one of those heavenly kingdoms BS fairy tales again? I'm half Serb and half Croat. Whenever I get comments of what my background is, it's always either German, Polish... quite commonly Scandinavian and British too. Again, proof that Serbs are from Iranians? I just showed you that 50% of Albanians come from haplogroups that are NOT considered native to Europe, in the sense, that they were not the first who came here (i.e. we all come from Africa) All you people do is talk and talk, but none of you can actually provide any sources or proof to back yourselves up. What a waste of time.

Is this Shqiptar ignorant or what? An Iranian descendant pointing the finger and labeling someone to be of Turk descent. Isn't that ironic. By the way, he played an excellent game from what I read. Iranians and Turks are two completely different ethnic groups. If the Serbs came from where the Pollaks came, and from where the Germans came; then how a Pole mixing with a German look so different from the average Serb. Is this one of those heavenly kingdoms BS fairy tales again? Germans weren't in the area at the time.
