In terms of people, Italians are very different. Especially Sicilians. They are a hard people, they get very angry and often violent. My best friends are both Sicilians and both came very near killing someone in their lifetime (and they were only 20)... had someone else not been there. Greek people are soft, often passive. Italians on the otherhand can be viscous. They also came to America with strong clannish complexes and it shows. In their gangs and mafias.

Not very carefully. Your last theory somehow dulled my attention to what you are saying.

As someone who grew up in Tirana, I always thought Macedonians are Bulgarians and the natural Macedonian solution would be to split the country between Bulgaria and Albania.
Having said that I respect their identity as they see themselves nowadays and wouldn't advocate a split if they respect the Albanians' rights which they have to a degree although much remains to be done.

Some people still play dumb and try to present fyromians as something other than Bulgarians.

I've read Novi's sources, and I gotta tell you, if that's all a person reads it's only natural that they'd think otherwise. I guess people can easily be fooled by reading propaganda. That's why it's best to try and stick to independent international sources rather than ones that reference professors from the University of Belgrade.
I'll be very satisfied with imroved relations and with putting a stop on the negative media coverage regarding Bulgaria.
Given Kosova, I don't think the Albanians of Macedonia will be getting any recognition for another independent nation in the Balkans. Macedonian-Albanian relations may not be great, but I deffinitlely don't think they can be compared with the Serb-Albanian relations of a dozen years ago.
The other thing is that today's 'Great Powers' wouldn't allow for any such unifications, hell, one of their conditions for recognizing Kosova was that it will not unite with Albania. The rich nations don't want any stabalized nations in the Balkans, but rather many small buffer like countries.

Some people still play dumb and try to present fyromians as something other than Bulgarians. Well the fact that Macedonia was a Yugoslav federation for a long time helped them forge a new identity. There are now advocates in Kosova of a new Kosovar identity, separate from the Albanian one. Although they have very little support among the Albanian population in Kosova who's to say 50 years from now that won't become true.

My roomate is sicilian and he is more hot-headed than anyone I know. I can't tell you how many times we have gotten into fights at bars or clubs because of him. My school has lots of italians, and I think the sicilians are def the most hot headed and racist. Its funny tho because they look more like blacks than anyone else.

I agree that they're kind of racist(specificamente per Albasesi e Romani... ;D)...but their family oriented mentality is the closest to the Greek's one, and we share many things...

I dont know who is more hot-headed and racist though... Albanians or Sicilians. I like to think Sicilians are more assimilated to American culture though.

I don't think Serbs are much better. Pretty much the only time I fight is when I'm with my Serbian friends and someone says something and one of us flips s**t. Westerners can usually walk away (which is usually the better solution) but with Serbs (or even some of my other Balkan friends), even if the other guy is three times the size of him, I've noticed it always ends up in a fight or the other guy backing off.
As far as racism, I've noticed that racism is extremely prevalent not only among Balkan populations but among southern European populations like Italians and Spaniards as well.

Hmmm...I don't know. I'm a quite traditional person, and into culture, so it would have to be an ethnicity that is proud, sticks to traditions and actually has some essence. I'd probably choose to be...mmm...Israeli, maybe...
