Thracian, you have no clue about the Turks of Germany so please do us a favour and cut the crappy turkish propaganda on this issue. The problem are the Turks, not the Germans. The German state is all fair to them...and it always has been. The Turks who are not willing to integrate themselves into the society and do openly announce their hate towards Germany are the problem...if they could, they would proclaim an independent country within Germany....

Hahah.. have you seen the ethnic Turks from BG?! Because they behave and look just fine. So if we compair you to them, you will for sure look like gypsies and them up to 100 times more Europeans than you. Besides, I have been both in TR and GR - and I can tell only one thing: you greeks have a lot to learn from these turks! So shut the fvck up, you filthy complexed creature!

from my expereinces with BG Turks they seemed quite integrated.
many (not all) younger urban BG Turks are actually on the point of complete assimilation, with many speaking Bulgarian almost entirely rather than Turkish.
there also doesnt seem to be any separatist tendencies amongst them at all.
ever since Bulgaria gained its independence the BG Turks have never rebelled against it, unlike the Pomaks for example who following the end of second Balkans war actually had an uprising against the Bulgarian state which engulfed the south of the country.
interestingly the Pomaks also tend to be more religiously conservative than BG Turks. Even the founders of the attempted "OTOMAN" party in BG are Pomaks.
I would say however comparing the situation regarding Turks/Kurds in Germany to BG Turks is like comparing apples to oranges. They are two completely different populations with significantly different mentalities, at least from my experience.
it would interesting to hear the opinions of others regarding my experiences to see if they also share the same opinions

Why do you even address me mongol scum? I have not the interest to exchange with you...buzz off chinky. A minority that does uniformly elect one and the same party on elections....again and again....is insofar not integrated as it wants to form an antipole to the majority with the aim of being treated especially. Imagine...if their party is necessary to form a government...and they have only 15% or sth...with 15% they can govern a whole country (independenly from doing it just within a coalition)...and if you are aware of the fact that they doing this all intentionally and that they welcome the turkish prime minister like a hero...this all gets a very disturbing smack. No one can tell me that the turkish state does not act in the background...those parties are an extended arm of turkish interests...a wolf in sheep's clothing. Is that still in accordance to the constitutions of those countries? Their european tolerance is gonna eat them up... What angers me most of all is that Turkey does actively demand such rights for their minorities but they themselves know very well that they have always been treating their Christian minorities worst than any possible...this one sided self righteous mentality and attitude does not only prevail among their politicians but also among their people. This is why everyone should beware of his turkish minorities. They are no European minority after all...we have to do with turkish..muslim mentalities...not proggressive European ones. WHat I say is not politically correct but its the truth.

Yes,Turks in Germany are mostly NOT intergrated.
Havent you people forgotten Erdogan going there and saying assimilation is a crime a couple of years ago? And how he recently complained about Turks not being able to have Turkish schools in Germany? Turkey controls the Turks there. The way they do it,is imperialistic. The Turks in Germany are agents of Turkey.
There are even neighbourhoods in Germany where the Turks dont even know German. They rely on their middle men to help them get by.
I have even seen interviews on TV of Turkish children in Germany and they say the Germans dont like us,I dont know why they dont like us...
They seriously dont know how to back off.Turks in Cyprus, the Balkans and the guest worker ones in West Europe are none of Turkey's business.Only those who are not citizens of those countries are.

to the complexed gypsy: I will address you always, you have least to say you arab looking savages. Don't mention anything which you can't manifest with facts and specialy about BG turks. Respect the rights of your own minorities first!. Long live Aegean/west Thrace and Macedonia! to raven: It's not possible to compair the most poor and ignorant people of Turkey or Greece with some who are mostly well educated, have manners and same local origin as most of today Bulgarians. Those kurds and turks, as well as greeks and yougos left their homes to get a job, to serve the West.. uneducated, uneployed, ignorant in their own countries..

Those people left in search of a better life, not to serve the West. And most of them, although probably not very well educated, worked their socks off in order to feed their families. You'd better show some respect to the sacrifice they made.

WHat I say is not politically correct but its the truth. well the voters of the "HOH" party which is the one i assume you are talking about come from a variety of different backgrounds. a very large percentage of supporters of that party are BG Turks who live in Turkey and western Europe and are the ones that left BG back in the 80's. Many of these people have pretty much no idea about the daily goings on in BG and vote for that party as they still believe the assimilation process is ongoing. as many of these ppl are still citizens they are eligible to vote during BG elections and as they are so numerous their votes certainly can affect the final outcome. support for that party can easily be eroded if the BG government stopped allowing citizens who havent lived in BG for decades from voting in elections. a significant number of HOH supporters are also Pomaks. in the Rodope regions they are the dominant political party. then of course a large number of "supporters" are Gypsies who get bribed to vote for HOH, however from what ive heard its not an uncommon practice for other political parties to also bribe Gypsies to vote for them as Gypsies in general have no real political allegiance to anyone. in the town of Kardjali for example which is something like 70% ethnically Turkish the ruling GERB party are in control so to say all BG Turks vote in an uniform fashion is wrong.

Raven, good post. I agree with almost everything, just a few notes, if you allow me:
It is either DPS (Dvizhenie za prava i svobodi) in Bulgarian or MRF (Movement for rights and freedom).
Results show that the number of Turks who live and vote in Western Europe is highly insignificant. It is the ones in Turkey who either vote in the country or come here in buses in the form of what is known as 'electional holiday'.
The town itself is predominantly Bulgarian, it is the villages around it and the region that constitute the massive vote for DPS.
I want to tell you one thing. This party (DPS), despite being part in several governments, has done absolutely nothing to improve the life of its voters. Nothing. No one knows their agenda, political inclination, view on the social or economic development, you name it. It is just a greedy organization with an ultra-rich leader who secures those faithful to him. Any Turk, who has dared to express a different opinion has been expelled. Not that the Bulgarian parties are any better, it is just the way it is.

There are surely exceptions raven...I dont have detailed knowledge on this but this one party HOH (or what it is called) is surely not elected by the average ethnic Bulgarian. Lobbying is usual praxis in democratic countries...Im all aware of that. But parties whose elector spectrum is predetermined and statical (since a Bulgarian can hardly become a Turk) are a problem. A democratic party must be flexible...such parties arent. They are polarizing and dividing...they are not means to an end but ends in themselves. They are a commitment to otherness within countries that are not multiethnical according to their constitutions. They form an opposition not only to other political parties...but to the country and state itself.
And if you say that there are also such cases of bribe...where votes are bought...well then...there is nothing to add to that.

u cut the crap of your ignorance. as you are very well aware of German's racism - which shows in their dark past. Even my German friend in USA says when she visits Germany, Germans look at Turks - stare at them for no reason. They make they feel like an outcast, thus who would want to integrate when they're treated badly in the first place??
I know though that the 2nd and 3rd generation Turks their are much more integrated, as they are much more educated and the younger generation of Germans are less racist than the older generation.
