Lol, exactly.
I have to say, it's not exactly my favourite meal either but sometimes, when I'm really hungry, I get this urge to just eat something that I used to eat as a child.

^ Ofcourse, l tell you what, the simple foods are often the best foods. Its really funny that most of our cusines were the foods of our pesants. Many foods that l found disgusting as a child l really love eating today.

Yes..... almost all are traditional..... as Novi said simple but very good, excellent........ I forgot the Pinjur or Pindzur.... Nikola didn't..... usually peppers, tomatoes, garlic all melt together..... now there are lots of versions..... plus some ingredients..... but it is simple and beautiful....

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I love all the things you ve posted!!!! Those are traditional for Bulgaria too, maybe they are traditional to other Balkan states too. Though the serbs eat more meat and we (plus the Macedonians) eat less and more vegetables...

Boranija We make that, too, but we eat it with rice, bread and salad with lemon dressing. Urgh, I hate it so much...beans and meat :x. I love burek though (only those with cheese in them). I can eat a whole lot of that...

I have just remembered one, Ruska Salata (Russian Salad). I don't actually know if it's Russian but it's served in Macedonia and it tastes great.
