He was participating in a peaceful protest where are you getting your info that he was amongst an armed crowd ? The title says he was killed on his doorstep. I don't know if that's litteral but if it is then obviosly he wasn't part of any protest. It also says the bomb was thrown meters away from the crowd. Maybe they were near his house. And also, Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi is/was friends with him.

Did l say with certainty that Mesud is Albanian?, l'm confident also his a muslim slav 99%, but l'm telling both of you that there could be a 1% chance his Albanian, you never know because some ex-slavs still retain their ich or vich suffixes to their surnames, some have converted ich to the Albanian iqi because Albanians cant pronounce ich or vich.

"Most of those I've met who have these last names are either from Macedonia or from Montenegro, I've heard about a guy that got his name suddenly changed from Yusufi to Yusufovski and much more stories like this."
Blame the communist Tito for this. Odel explain to me the historical mechanics behind the Bosnijak Gorans from Kosovo, they have their first names and surnames spelt in an Albanian fashion, did the serbs pressurize them to speak Bosnijak at home?

I never disputed that. I was mocking your "Captain Obvious to the rescue" post about him probably being a Slavic speaking Muslim.

Sorry to break the news to you but we can pronounce "ch". In the Kosovo dialect however, "ch" is pronounced with the letter "q". In standard Albanian it is the letter ç.
You can't even speak Serbo-Croatian properly and you are commenting on our language? Another foot to mouth by Novi.
As for the surgeon, he seems to have been the unintended victim and i feel bad.

Lmao what a dimwit. How did I miss that part of his post. Alot of Albanian surnames have that exact same sound.
Krasniqi is just like Krasnići, and I'm sure you're aware the surname Krasnić exists among Croats (maybe Serbs too).
The 'q' captainalbania is mentioning sounds exactly like 'ć'.
Although I think the 'ç' sounds a little different than the q doesn't it? (asking Albanians). Isn't it a more harsh 'ch' sound? Like our č ,not ć.

He's telling you the 'q' is like like the 'ch' at the end of serbian names.
So yes, it's Krasnichi.

ç is equivalent to english chin. IPA format tʃ q is like a k and a j mixed together thats the best i can explain it without actually saying it and thats not even that close.
This is standard Albanian which is mostly Tosk based.
In the northern dialect of Kosovo "Northeastern Gheg", q is pronounced as a ch or ç

In Kosovo they do, In Albania they dont.
In Kosovo they pronounce it Krasnichi, in Albania it's Krasniqi.
I dont see what the problem is here, just some regional variations.
