After becoming independent, Serbia have won 2006 European championship, finished as runner-up in 2008, won bronze medal at 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing and won the 2009 World championship held in Rome. VK Partizan won 6 titles of European champion and it is the second best European team in history of water polo.
TennisIn 2010 Serbia has become the 13th nation to win the Davis Cup title after completing a 3-2 victory over France.

WeightliftingWeightlifting has probably been the most successful individual sports for Greeks, behind Kickboxing, with the national team regularly winning gold medals in the Olympics and the rest international competitions. Greek weightlifters have won a total 15 medals in the Olympics with 6 of them being gold,5 silver and 4 bronze medals.
