you mean sarmatian, and no they aren't specifically noted as sarmatian in those sources instead they are noted being by them, in that general area by the caspian.
again, bulgars lived in the balkans for centuries as non-slavs and this is not debated. "bulgarian" moreso probably has regional connotations, stemming from 'bulgaria' , thus is tied to a concept of a country, rather than tribe/people.
you are serbs living in the area once inhabited by mare-milk drinking bulgar nomads

you mean sarmatian, and no they aren't specifically noted as sarmatian in those sources instead they are noted being by them, in that general area by the caspian. they are listed among the iranian tribes. its not known what the bulgars were, but i woudnt rule out they being heavily slavized already when they came to the bolkans. their first state was in ukraine and from there they came here. wrong. the people in presenday bulgaria, macedonia, most of thrace, southeastern serbia were described as bulgarian. there is no land called bulgaria only!!! remember this isnt bosnia!!! moesia was never called bulgaria. actually macedonia and most of serbia were in theme bulgaria when bulgaria fell under the byzantines. moesia was called paristrion. conclusion: since you were once called bulgarians (or at least half of serbia) its much more accurate to restore your old name. the bulgarians were never called serbs.

so due to the fact a person with only serbian language experience can almost fully understand bulgarian gives real credence to us being one solid slavic nation. 'bulgar' aren't slavs so naturally you must be serbs. СПОТ ОРБРО!!

Who somehow ruled over the highly sophisticated Serbs who drank mojito, lived in skyscrapers and ate asparagus and tuna only (healthy reasons, you know). Oh, and had the softest toilet paper that the world knew at that time.

Croats , Bulgars , and Serbs were all 'elite' tribes that established their influence on different pockets of Slavs and natives and even on the same ones. They were highly organized militarily probably a discipline carried over from their Iranian past.
