unfortunately not. however, it is natural for serbs to merge with serbs. linguistically i dont know really, however this lusatian Serb en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavle_Juri%C5%A1i%C4%87_%C5%A0turm had no problem communicating with south Serbs. Also, their surnames end in -ic, which is almost a trademark among Serbs. Maybe before the Slavic migrations to the Balkans, but now Serbian culture and language has changed so much from the Sorbian languages. Lower Sorbian: Rědna Łužyca, spšawna, pśijazna, mojich serbskich woścow kraj, mojich glucnych myslow raj, swěte su mě twoje strony. Cas ty pśichodny, zakwiś radostny! Och, gab muže stanuli, za swoj narod źěłali, godne nimjer wobspomnjeśa! Upper Sorbian: Rjana Łužica, sprawna přećelna, mojich serbskich wótcow kraj, mojich zbóžnych sonow raj, swjate su mi twoje hona! Časo přichodny, zakćěj radostny! Ow, zo bychu z twojeho klina wušli mužojo, hódni wěčnoh wopomnjeća! Tell me what this says. From what I've seen of Serbian on the internet, it looks very different. And genetically speaking, Sorbians are more in common with Czechs and Poles. And looking at a general list of Sorbians on wikipedia, I only found three surnames ending in "ich". "ich", is common among many south slavs. Catholic Bulgarians had surnames ending in "ich", but not anymore due to Bulgarianisation. I have watched many Sorbian things and I can say that their accent/pronunciation is closer to Serbian than it is to Polish or Russian. The Sorbs also kept word endings and grammar very similar to Serbian in contrast to Polish & Czech. In those songs, parts of upper sorbian, and lower, are easier to understand. For example "Redna" is more recognizable than "Rjana", for the word "good" or "beautiful" we have this word "Izvanredna" which means something to the effect of wonderful. anyways reading the lower sorbian i would translate: Rědna Łužyca, spšawna, pśijazna, mojich serbskich woścow kraj, mojich glucnych myslow raj, swěte su mě twoje strony. Cas ty pśichodny, zakwiś radostny! Och, gab muže stanuli, za swoj narod źěłali, godne nimjer wobspomnjeśa Oh beautiful Luzica, Just, passionate, The land of my Serbian fathers', The heaven of my deaf thoughts, Sacred are to me your parts, Now that your future be, always of happiness! Oh, (gab? probably german loan) of the men who became/ (upper Sorbian here is easier, next line) Oh, that i be from yours < -- upper sorbian And wished for their people Future (Nimjer, again German) mention (memory)! the last line in upper sorbian (again, easer): An Eternal memory! Here's the anthem in the closest Balkan-Serbian equivalent Izvanredna Luzica Pravedna, precelna Kraj mojih srpskih oca Raj mojih gluhih misli Svete su mi tvoje strane Cas i prihodni, Zauvek radostni! Eh, da budu od tebe postali Momci koji bi svoj narod zeleli I vredni vecne uspomene!

The translation is:
Lusatia, beautiful, Gracious, dutiful, Land of Sorbian forebears’ toil, Land of dreams, resplendent soil, Sacred are to me thy pastures. May thy future be Blooming joyously! Oh, may from thy womb appear People that the world holds dear, Worthy of eternal memory!
A Polish person I know translated it better than you did.

It was translated by Sorb, there are no Sorbian translators in Google. How can the prefix "Serb" be translated to "Sorb"? Is this a trick? I'm distinguishing the two. napoleon, bro, the average Pole would have done a much better job. here -->"za swoj narod źěłali," --> "People that the world holds dear" , there is no word close to "world". Sorbian has been heavily Germanised, don't be surprised if you can't recognise words, you speak Serbian (I presume), not Sorbian. your translation sucks.... (just like yourself) Did you ever age past the age of four? Or did your mental growth halt at the age of four and your physical growth keep on going. Be civil, stop insulting people on this forum when struggling to put together a coherent sentence.

idiot, 1st : "za swoj narod źěłali" is simply "za svoj narod zeleli" lol, and of course neither germanizations nor any other BS can justify your errors and your idiotic translations. 2nd Lusatian Serbs, call themselves SERBS, and they do not differentiate that from their southern brothers. Now, your political agenda is irrelevant, go suck some serbian/sorbian dick to see if you can tell any difference. loser.

Seriously, you're already an instigator, why risk getting banned for stupid little insults. And I didn't translate this, a Sorb did. They call themselves "Serbowy". In English, they are Sorbs, and I'm speaking in English to you.

Just concentrate to your mistakes my son, and who knows one day i might respect you. Respect is won through hard work. And because there are very few ppl who do their homework here, i respect very few. And you are the last in the queue to be respected.

I don't expect you to respect me, your respect is sub-par to that of Nazi. And I haven't made any mistakes proven so far. All you're doing is saying the translation I presented to you is wrong without showing me how it is with evidence to back up your claim.

Also there is a sorbian-english dictionary online wold.livingsources.org/vocabulary/10vocab comparison English Sorbian Serbian Polish Czech to understand Rozmes Razumeti Zrozumiec Rozumet to guess Godas Pogodis Zgadnac Hadat wise Mudry Mudri Madry Moudry a need Potrjeba Potreba Potrzeba Potreba shield Scit Stit Tarczna Stit priest Pop Pop Ksiadz Knez hell Pjakwo Pakao Piekwo Peklo holy Swety Sveti Shwieti Svaty

you have a serbian bf,no surprise here. wish you both a good life serb wife and SERBIAN kids. half-serbian kids but thats not the creepy part buddy. The creepy part is that you are comparing your children's wiener to that of fully grown serbian man. You either saw a lot of serbian knobs or you are delusional or a liar.
