Cool, and yesterday you defeated Finland so you passed, and I am really happy for you - no sarcasm Hvala! Petty the Greeks are sore loosers; macedoniaonline.eu/content/view/19044/48/After Loss to Macedonia, Greeks shut down border Sunday,04 September 2011 Several buses packed with Greek citizens last night parked their vehicles at the Evzoni border crossing (Greek side) and didn't allow any transit of travellers for half an hour, reports Skopje based Kurir. This 'protest' came as a result of yesterday's loss to Macedonia which apparently made many Greeks unhappy. Protesters carried typical political and Anti Macedonian banners as part of their protest. Macedonia's Ministry of Interior confirmed the news, explaining that after a short stoppage in transit between the two countries, things were quickly normalized. Update: An hour ago, there was a similar attempt by Greek nationalists to block the border, reports Skopje based Dnevnik. ********************** Eurobasket: Macedonia Defeats Greece 72-58 macedoniaonline.eu/content/view/19033/56/Saturday, 03 September 2011 Greek National TV removed the name "Macedonia" from their TV screens, but the Macedonan national team removed Greece from the basketball arena. Interesting to note both French and Serbian broadcasters cheered for Macedonia. Neither team were able to find any real offensive rhythm or range. As Greece managed to move 18-16 in front thanks mainly to the referees who kept putting Greek players on the foul line. After increasing their lead to 21-16, Macedonia had to respond and did so in fine style to turn the tables with a 14-5 run heading into the final minute before the break. Their accurate perimeter game was complimented by some solid defence with Greece not getting anything easy although they did close the margin to a solitary point with a tip-in at the buzzer. Both teams slugged it out in similar fashion when they emerged from the locker rooms and with the game tied up at 38-38, Macedonia visibly stepped things up. This helped them post some daylight at 50-42 and it had Greek coach Ilias Zouros calling time-out in a bid to stop the rout. The timeout had an instant result as his team held Macedonia scoreless for almost five minutes to complete a 7-0 run either side of the quarter break. The pressure was suddenly on, but Macedonia scored 11 unanswered points to ease their worries as Greece crumbled and eventually gave up. Turning Point: Ahead by eight points approaching the end of the third quarter, Macedonia began to crumble but as their lead almost evaporated, they held their nerve to post a terrific 11-0 run and give Greece a mountain to climb. Game Heroes: Bo McCalebb finished with a game-high 27 points and Pero Antic played a real captain's role. However, the excellent cameo of center Gjorgij Chekovski, who made three triples and played great defence, can't be overlooked. Stats Don't Lie: Greece had no real outside threat shooting 21% and also had almost twice as many turnovers.

You are correct Nikola. Why just the other day Chentovist was asking who was whiter and what other people from the Balkans thought Greeks looked like. Laughable, really laughable.

The same can be said for any Mac who so defiantly tries to prove that their ancestry is of Ancient Macedon.
