it looks horrible. I dont like modern architecture. It has no soul. Much better if they build houses in ancient Greek style or even in Vienna style. But thats just my personal oppinion. I love Europe because the architecture has soul. The modern cities look and feel souless.

I love Europe because the architecture has soul. The modern cities look and feel souless. I agree, European architecture is beautiful. But modern skyscrapers are inevitable because they are cheap, easy and quick to build. Plus, some people are ridiculing Skopje for the neoclassical style buildings currently being constructed. But Skopje is only going to have neoclassical buildings in the city square. All the other non-government buildings from now on are going to be in a modern style and soulless unfortunately. These four skyscrapers are not going to be in the city though, but in a residential suburb close by. Though, I'm sure there will be some other skyscrapers coming to the city eventually. In other news, the church that was planned to be built in the city square as part of the Skopje 2014 project has been scrapped. There was too much objection to having it built there (from both Albanians and Macedonians) and in it's place will be another administration building in old style.

Isn't Montenegro's economy pretty much run by Russian corporations? They seem to going well.

...but you're looking to go to second-base in the case of an attempted division of macedonia again, macedonia will go for a home run... better united in a prison, than split up in different foster homes.. though i think moreso it's a case of being "in too deep"

Too many Albanians. I'm not Kosovar but tito didn't want to stir up s**t. You know that s**t wouldn't fly there. You call it your holyland, I call it the heart of Albanianism (the people, not so much the land). You turned serb yesterday weakling, doesn't give you the right to give the Kosovars such a nasty label. A hairy, inbred serb....yuck! so you are implying that you're less of an albanian than they are? since they're the "center" (and you're the periphery). since they're the "heart" why were they and the malesors traditionally called "frontiersmen" (Krahisnike)? that'd infer the exact opposite of what you said. i call them that bc that's what they deserve. like it or not, they possess some of that serb-type nationalism and aggression that just isn't characteristic of you guys ;D I'm just saying in general, they are more passionate. Of course we have our patriots in fyrom. But we don't need to use force in our situation. We're dealing with people who proclaim to be something they're not. In other words, they are weak.

Turkish Chief of the General staff Ilker Basbug (R) accompaned by his Macedonian counterpart Miroslav Stojanovski (L) inspect the honour guard in front of the ministry of Defense in Macedonia. From 1998 Macedonia and Turkey have signed a total of 22 military agreements. At least 600 members of the armed forces of the country have been trained in Turkey, of whom 82 are graduates of the War Academy in Ankara. The height of the Turkish military aid to Skopje amounts to $ 16 million and by the end of the year another delivery of equipment for the Special Forces and logistical support, worth $ 1.15 million, is expected. From the information available, the latest delivery of military equipment to Macedonia took place in October 2008 and involved Land Rover vehicles, generators and tents, totaling $ 275,000. Note that with the help of Ankara, two communications interception stations operate near the Greek border, through which it is possible to intercept Greek communications and hence monitor the military movements in northern Greece. Also, recall that in 1999 Turkey offered to donate to Skopje 20 F-5 fighter jets, a project that ultimately did not materialize. By the end of this year a new military contract worth $ 1.35 million is expected to be signed.
