Thaci Thanks Bulgaria for Readiness to Save Kosovo from StarvationThe crisis emerged over the latters' refusal to acknowledge Kosovo's Customs stamps as an independent country and banning the import of Kosovo-made goods. Until now, Kosovo imported food products from Serbia valued at EUR 300 M with 80% of them being food.Speaking to Bulgaria's Agriculture Minister Naydenov, Kosovo PM Thaci has expressed hopes that Bulgaria would be able to help Kosovo with the creation of a state food reserve of its own as well as with the transfer of agricultural know-how and technologies and the introduction of EU agricultural and food standards.www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=131227I read in the new york times the other day, that major human rights activists/charites/corperations such as Unicef, are labeling Kosovo as the Somalia of Europe. You declared "independance", and now you're hungry. Well done, Hashish Thaci.

How are they hungry? They just change their provider for food import, from Serbia to Bulgaria. Who do you honestly think will lose on this the most?

Take also notice to this: Basically, I think this goes deep down in Serb mentality that they think that Albanians aren't able to govern for themselves.

It's the world that thinks that, not just Serbs. You have an eternal resting spot on the asses of larger, more powerful peoples (Turks, Normans, Serbs, Americans).
Pray to the spirit of Bill Clinton every night and thank him that he swooped down and saved you from extinction.

No, there was a article written on that topic that was written by a Serb, according to him the mentality among Serbs was that Albanians were far too primitive to govern for themselves, therefore Serbs needed to govern for them. I think you're just jealous that we have gotten the powerful ally in the USA that you had in Russia.

I wouldn't call that united, and if we look at it that way, it was united under the Ottomans too.

I was just last week in Kosovo and people there certainly didn't not seem to be starving, in the other hand people were much happier, that was because local businesses were expanding, more jobs for people, replacement products have always been there but unfortunately in lower quantities because serbian companies were able export their products without any tax/customs paid which resulted in lower priced products and pretty low quality, pushing out other companies. But with the embargo in place, these other companies were able to match the prices brining in much better quality products. Then there was the local companies/businesses that were able to fill a gap by producing much more. As far as the article, Thaci went there to invite Bulgarian investors, but it isn't hard for a journalist to twist the story and satisfy a certain small audience.
