one does not go to the trouble of paying a handsome fee to stash his money in switzerland if they didn't obtain their riches by playing dirty,
the greek govt asked for the identities of these greek citizens to be revealed but the swiss refused, which is understandable, they'd be out of business if they did that, the greeks authorities suspect that the account holders are fomer officials who made vast amounts off corruption and scams, they estimate the funds to be between 300 to 600 billion,
that would kick off a shitstorm if they found out who stood behind these accounts, i hope they make an example out of them, and hopefully it is followed up with some of our own scumbags who offshore their dirty money

I always knew Greece would have ended up in a heap of trouble and in deep dog chit. Over the years whenever I hired anyone to do anything .. I would always ask for a receipt.. and never got one... Only last year my mom spend 27.000 euros on renovations and not a single receipt...
All my relatives were riding high on the 'work and don't pay tax routine' now they all look like little dogs who lost their bones..
I pay nearly 50% of my salary to taxes.... and never complained much...

its a balcans syndrome, all people tink about is how to scam, cheat and swindle the system, paying taxes its an alien concept,
if greece gets its shit together then they can turn it around, the biggest challenge is changing people's attitudes and mentality and that won't happen overnight and that's always been the problem, getting people to come on board.
i just don't understand people, like people were getting mortagages upwards of 450k for a 2 bedroom apartments in residential areas that seemed to have sprung up, i used to work in a bank at a time and i would listen to these tools getting excited over having been approved a 450k loan, i always looked on in amazement....like do you know u have to pay that back? over the next 25 years? on a salary of 2k a month? on a job that you might not have at some point? they're stuck in these overpriced, depriciated apartments and they're paying a monster monthly mortagage whilst having their salaries reduced every year struggling to make ends meet, everyone bought into this neverending constant stream of money, they actually convince you 450k its not that big an amount.

That is very unrealistic.. How can you be 30 years old, married and kid on the way and pay for a house in cash? You are talking about buying a house in the Western world arent you?Do you know how much a single family moderate home sells for in Queens?
