Southern Serbs look Pontid not like Turks. Turks don't even know what race they are they just worship the same dude Kemal Ata.
Dude you just look Pontid ,smaller skull, dark hair and eyes.

Thanks Pyrros! I completely agree about muslims in Bosnia! I have a few half muslim cousins, and they or at least their Muslim parent are always blue eyed and lighter pigmented! I spent some time in Nis this summer, and the people really do look different in some cases. Very nice people. I'm still not very good at classification, but I like to think of my dad as the textbook example for dinarid lol I think I get a lot of features from him. His parents were from Risan and eastern Hercegovina (and has those genes I mentioned from Sarajevo and Rab): your father looks very albanian,i have been told that in east hercegovina there were many albanians, and you even said you have origins from kosova

Punisher I agree with you about herzegovans, and i think it's true for montenegrans and dalmations too. I think those people and albanians have a common genetic origin, and that the ones in yugo areas were culturally slavicised.
As for kosovo, my mom is actually the one with roots there, not my dad.

Globalcitizen, your father is a good example of a Dinarid, he looks quite Albanian. Your mother is more Alpinid then Dinarid, but still Dinarid influenced. For educational purposes, I'll show some examples of textbook Dinarids, or very close to textbook: Tahir Drenica Dervish Shaqa (Cromagnid tendency): Vuk Draskovic:

You're surprisingly open to that possibility, I don't see much of that in Yugos. It's especially suprising seeing as your mum is from Kosovo.

Punisher I'll have to get back to you on which part of kosovo my grandmother is from. She moved away very young (I don't know for what reason, but I'm fairly sure it wasn't related to the conflict), and her maiden surname was Kostic (until people started calling her dad Kosovac). I'll look into it. and Lool at the hot/not comment! I won't say anything just incase they stumble on this page Wow najpos, I didn't realize that some typical dinarids had wider noses like I do, I always thought they were thinner like on Hari Varesanovic (singer). www.balkanmedia.com/slika-hari-mata-hari-hari-i-najvece-pop-zvijezde-pjevaju-sevdalinke-slike-5269-1-2.jpgis one more common than the other? As for my openness, I just don't want to waste my time on perpetuating retarded political dogmas. I've been a victim of it in the past from other Yugos, and it's not cool. Also, I support scientific evidence lol. Not to say culture isn't important, but it shouldn't be a divider. As for Kosovo, I don't feel a personal connection to it since I've never really been there (I don't think even my grandmother does since she was so young when she moved away, certainly not my mother). All I know is some of my genes came from there. Oddly enough, this grandma looks the most slavic of anyone in my family lol so if I look Albanian to anyone, it's more likely from my other relatives. I also find it funny that Serbs and Albanians both say my dad looks like a typical face of each respective group! Clearly there's lots of commonality between our people, we shouldn't be dwelling on the differences and the perpetuated politics. I'm completely anti-conflict lol.. but especially when it comes to Yugo people, 4 countries of which speak the same language...
