B92 is hardly a credibile source. I have noticed that their interpretation of the english language is at times flawed.

So in order to clarify things now, we should discuss what the true meaning of the UDI is. For you as a "Croatian" the true meaning of UDI might be what Chizhov said: An Independent Kosovo without Russian vote is the same as an autonomous Kosovo. The same as what the serbs offered. So I say believe your russian friends, you win and we lose. Sleep well the russians will take care of you.

No, what I was saying or asking for clarification is does the bet stand if the decleration is mearly for another decleration.

The declaration date is not that important right now. What is important is to get as many countries as we can to recognize it. What matters is when US,GB,Germany, France,Italy and Japan will recognize it. Most of the other countries will follow them. You can keep Cyprus,Sllovakia,Romania, Burkina Faso. I gave you until May so you have time to recollect yourself.Even if there are ten predeclarations Kosova will still become independent before May 31.

In terms of my bet with Pejoni as was with rex, it has importance. It what defines the bet.

I am absolutely certain that Croatia as a member of the UN-Security Council will as it has said many times before, recognise the independence of the Republic of Kosova. You can count on our vote. !!!

Croatia just entered the UN Security Council and yes they have been saying these things. I have never denied it. All I have ever said is that they flip flop with their decision making.

Pejoni, according to this article, I can collect on my bet already.
"Declaration of intent Feb.17; independence in March" 11 February 2008 | 09:38 | Source: B92 LJUBLJANA -- The Kosovo parliament will make a declaration of intent on February 17.
Independence itself will be declared in early March.
The Slovenian 24ur.com portal reports that the timeframe for Kosovo declaring independence now has an actual framework, quoting Kosovo TV, which said that between the declaration of intent and the independence declaration itself, the Kosovo parliament will adopt 30 laws stemming from the Martti Ahtisaari plan.
These would include the already prepared Kosovo Constitution and state symbols. The parliament will have to decide on one of three proposals for the flag and one of two for the crest.
That course of events should to some extent take the sting out of the potential Cypriot and Romanian vetoes to sending the EU mission to Kosovo, say 24ur.com. For the moment, it’s still not clear whether the parliament will take a decision on the EU mission at the same time as it makes its declaration of intent, or whether it will leave that until the actual declaration of independence in March.
There is also talk of what to do in the event of the northern Kosovo Serbs seceding and trying to re-unite with Serbia, though it is more likely that a parallel institution will be created, says the Slovenian portal, adding that the Serb minority intends to found its own Kosovo Serb Parliament as early as Friday.
According to Priština daily Zeri, this will be done at the initiative of Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Koštunica and Kosovo Minister Slobodan Samardziæ, parallel to the boycott of the EU mission.

Fender me and you.. - If Kosova doesnt declare Independence until February 17th, one of us has to change our avatars. If I lose... I'll use the Croatian coat of arm for a month, if I win.. you use the Albanian coat of arms for a month.. how about that? Ok Pejoni, this was your offer of the bet. And here was my acceptance.

The Kosovo parliament will make a declaration of intent on February 17 Its like some1 making a declaration that it is within his intentions to win the lottery. Thats pretty legitimate i'd say!! Nothing more honest than that!
