Novi, i will say this for the 10000000th time. the british-imposed pseudo greek-serb friendship is teh biggest obstacle to the Serbian truth. And that is because the key is in the south. Lets see what the wiki says about the town Servia (btw in modern greek we pronounce the country Serbia as "Servia" as well). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servia,_Greece this is interesting.. "European root *ser- 'to watch over, protect', akin to Latin servare 'to keep, guard, protect, preserve, observe'" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serb#Ethnologyso according to "history" and/or this etymology, this connection is only a coincidence? I am not implying anything I am really curious about this. It can easily be passed as a coincidence if the two place/peoples were from opposites sides of the world, but regional neighbours?

^ Uz, the point Pyrro is making has been the delibrate attempt to fabricate new theories and ERASE historical known FACT about Serbs in the South Balkans. Prior to this wiki update, it stated that the town of Servia in Greece were founded by the Serboi, now its selling this propaganda that its latin meaning; is to watch over; haven't you heard of the other latin explaination that the name Serb means slaves and some ruddy shoes LMAO
Porphyrogentius mentions that Serbs were settled around Thessaloniki in a place named after them as Ta-Serblia. Johanes Zonaras called Servia as Srpciste, the Ottomans called the town serfide etc....

Greek and Serbian friendship is going good, both us and Greeks don't need others to tell us how it is....we don't need to prove it.

Professor Zvi Ankori, of the Department of Jewish History at Tel Aviv University (among other institutions), compared Koestler to Jacob Fallmerayer, the German scholar who already in the nineteenth century had suggested that the modern Greeks were not descendants of the ancient Hellenes, as they imagined, but of a hotchpotch of Slavs, Bulgars, Albanians and others who had poured into the Peloponnese and gradually mixed with its original population.
