PM meets with EULEX organ trade investigator
The Serbian government will offer its full support to the efforts to solve all crimes committed in Kosovo, it was heard in Belgrade on Wednesday.
(KosovoCompromiseStuff) Thursday, October 18, 2012
The statement came from PM Ivica Dacic, who met with American official Clint Williamson - head of a team set up by the EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX, to investigate the human organ trafficking allegations.
Dačić also stressed that the Serbian government believes that determining the whole truth about the crimes represented a debt toward the victims, and an important condition for permanent stability.
Williamson informed the Serbian prime minister about the investigation so far, and the problems investigators faced during the process, announcing at the same time that his team would in the coming months "start working in the territory of central Serbia as well".
The government will encourage all potential witnesses to come forward, while the Interior Ministry will secure the highest level of their protection, Dacic added.
The organ trafficking case concerns Serb and other civilians kidnapped in Kosovo in 1999 and 2000, who are believed to have been illegally imprisoned in northern Albania, where their body parts were removed to be sold in the international black market.
A report filed by Council of Europe (CoE) Special Rapporteur Dick Marty implicated current Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci in the atrocities. Thaci is one of the former leaders of the ethnic Albanian KLA.

it be interesting to see how all this plays out... somehow I get the feeling the house of cards is going to collapse on thaci and "independant"-Kosovo. The west is slowly moving away from him, hence ending "supervised-independance". He's going to be on his own soon.

Its too much of a coincidence, now, that Vuk is aspiring to become Secretary-General of the UN. There were certain signs that NENE AMERIKES was planning to pull out of Kosovo when Putin meet Bush in his ranch over in Texas and the big NO came out of Putin's mouth about the issue of Kosovo. PS The Russians have told us if we stick by them we will NOT LOSE kosovo

Well Rex... the above 4 points are undeniable and undisputable. 1- Kosovo's recognition process is failing...this is not what any alb expected. 2- Kosovo does infact depend purely on America, the desperation is clearly seen when they're selling states assets to Allbright and Clarke. 3- Kosovo is being blocked and will continue being blocked. thaci will be sitting in the hallway. 4- everyday people couldn't give two fucks for albanians in kosovo anymore. 5- internal disputes are reportedly being hidden from the media. This issue is still in the process of revealing itself.

A new fiction movie from serbia ....
and thats according to Uz with his comment at the end of the article .......
Kusturica to make film about Kosovo organ trade Source: Tanjug MEĆAVNIK -- Film director Emir Kusturica has announced he will spend the next three years making a film on human organ trafficking in Kosovo.
Serbia's internationally renowned filmmaker told Tanjug in an interview that he considers it as one of the major topics of this century and the most brutal act and strongest sign of a return to pagan times. Kusturica said the film requires major preparations and investments and noted that the idea came from his daughter, who was writing a script "at a time we were all taken aback" by the horrific crimes.
He revealed that he he plans to shoot in Russia, because most of the movie takes place there, while he will shoot the segments which take place in Kosovo somewhere else.
Kusturica talked about the movie to the participants of the Vivaldi Forum held at Mećavnik this weekend, where he revealed he has been writing a novel entitled "My Dear Fyodor" for some time.
The protagonist is a Serbian man who has lived in Paris for years and dreams of portraying Dostoevsky, which leads him to Kosovo by the way of Saint Petersburg.
The director said the organ trafficking in Kosovo is the most horrific topic which has been kept hidden for years, and there is no bigger topic than this one in the arts.
"It is our destiny to "forget the terrible things that happen to us," he said, adding he wants to remind viewers.
The allegations that ethnic Albanian KLA in 1999 and 2000 kidnapped Serbs and other civilians in Kosovo, detained them illegally in northern Albania, and removed and sold their vital organs in the international black market, first surfaced in a book published in 2008 by Carla del Ponte, former chief prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal.
Council of Europe special rapporteur Dick Marty in late 2010 published his report, which was used a basis of a resolution passed in early 2011, calling for an impartial probe to be conducted.
The atrocities are currently a subject of investigation of the Serbian War Crimes Prosecution, and of a special team set up by the EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX.

U.S. sided with organ-harvesters in Kosovo-Serb war: PennLive lettersA small but significant item on page A11 April 30 caught my eye: "Five convicted in Kosovo’s organ-trafficking ring." As someone who has followed and written about the events in Kosovo since the war’s inception, there is more to this story which must also be told if the truth is to be known. Carla del Ponte, former chief prosecutor at The Hague tribunal and author of, “The Hunt: Me and War Criminals,” states that Kosovo Albanians harvested organs of kidnapped ethnic Serbs after the armed conflict ended in 1999. These allegations were made by several sources, one of whom “personally made an organ delivery” to an Albanian airport for transport abroad,” and “confirmed information directly gathered by the tribunal.” Del Monte also writes that senior figures in the Kosovo Liberation Army were aware of the harvesting of the organ scheme in which hundreds of young Serbs were allegedly stripped of their organs. In The Telegraph (UK) article of 2008 entitled, “Serbs prisoners ‘were stripped of their organs in Kosovo war’,” del Ponte writes, “The victims, deprived of a kidney, were then locked up again, inside the barracks, until the moment they were killed for other vital organs. In this way, the other prisoners were aware of the fate that awaited them, and according to the source, pleaded, terrified, to be killed immediately.” America was taken to war against the Serbian people in support of the Kosovo Albanians and the Kosovo Liberation Army, an army about which the U.S. Special Envoy to the Balkans, Robert Gelbard, said, “I know a terrorist when I see one, and these men are terrorists.” www.pennlive.com/opinion/index.ssf/2013/05/serbia_kosovo_atrocities_organ_harvesting.html
