www.focus-fen.net/index.php?id=n291951MIA: Serbia prepared to mediate in Greece-Macedonia open issues, says president11 November 2012 | 10:47 | FOCUS News Agency Home / Southeast Europe and Balkans Thessaloniki. Serbia is prepared to mediate in the settlement of open issues between Greece and Macedonia, said President Tomislav Nikolic in Thessaloniki on Saturday, Tanjug reports, Macedonian MIA news agency reported. Summing up the visit to Greece and talks with the country's top officials, Nikolic told a press conference that if such initiative was launched, Belgrade could mediate between Athens and Skopje. "You can imagine what it would look like if we all cooperated. This would be a supporting pillar of the Balkans, maybe of whole Europe", said Nikolic. He assessed Serbia-Greece cooperation as excellent, without any open issues, adding that Greece unconditionally supported Serbia on the EU path. "It is obvious that Serbia could be the bridge between the east and the west, the north and south. We have reconfirmed what Serbs and Greeks have always nurtured complete understanding and cooperation, relations which have not been disrupted by anything", stressed Nikolic. During a recent visit to Macedonia, the Serbian President voiced readiness to mediate in settlement of problems between the Serbian and Macedonian Orthodox churches.

What a bunch of cow manure ,how easy Serbia forgets how Greece wanted to mediate between Serbia and the US for the release of those American airmen that parachuted and captured .But the Serbians ignored Greece , WE NEVER FORGET A SLAP IN THE FACE

How is that slap in face, even if Serbia rejected your help in that matter. Serbia had bigger issues on the brink during those times, sorry that inviting you over for a cup of tea wasn't on the agenda.

LMAO Generally when Greece wants to mediate between Serbs and the West, in reality they just seek to re-produce the official western positions, under the disguise of a fake greek-serbian friendship.

Seriously everybody be honest, who better to mediate this other than the Serbs?
This can potentially be a Great thing. Serbia can be the bridge between Macedonia and Greece, and this sort of alliance can be very beneficial.
In the same token, the official name of Macedonia should just by FYR-Macedonia. End of story.

What does this have to do with Albania? When one has two friends bickering over things that are irrelevant and plain stupid, one mediates so all three can be happy family.

those are the two bordering neighbors to both countries ....or fuk it lets bring in the Philippines
who needs serbia ?

It's a name dispute not a border dispute. The mediator has to be someone both accept and Serbia is clearly the best choice. Why Albania? when their interests conflict with the Macs and the Greeks... same goes for Bulgaria to a lesser extent.
Serbs understand the Greeks' concern, as well as the Macs.
FYR-MACEDONIA Full support!!! and lets deal with these siptar/turko-US-EU gimps once and for all!!!
