yea ....I understand Lefteri about that ...
thats only bcs the majority of them been playing the greek card for a while but that's crumbling apart slowly bcs Albs like me are here to whisper Albanian lullabies in their ear to make em turn around to their own truths ....
and its working ...lots of organizations/NGO's /festivities/1821 skai documentaries popping up all around greece ....its a changing slowly ,just look in the last 20-25 years
And for the example of our Arbresh in Italy ,we don't worry at all about them bcs they acknowledge their Albanianism 101% and freely at that and Italy itself recognizes them and its no big deal ...just like greeks that are Canadian citizens ....simple as that
I wonder if Catholicism and Orthodoxy played/plays a role in this ....?? hmmmmm
but sadly we have roadblocks ahaead bcs of the likes of Pyrros here ...that's a problem in the happening .But I am not giving up on his azz...

Arvanites came from ancient Illyria. National consciousness of ARBANITES and language was given Hellenic ! ΑΡΒΑΝΙΤΕΣ, εθνικήν συνείδησιν και γλώτταν μου έδωκαν ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗΝ. "Arvanitika" did not exist as a language before the 1500 and began to die from the 1800s, when it became extinct in the grounds and local demands that the constructed. "Arvanitika" was a composite language used in a turbulent area and by wars formed by 48% of Albanian words, 35% from Greek, by 10% by Turkish and 7% from Slavic words, an Greek area surrounded by Albano-Venetian armed forces of Arber claiming the GREEK ARBANON Nerios Atzayiolis in 1384, Emmanuel Kantakouzinos in 1350 and Theodore Paleologos in 1405 brought these people to the Peloponnese in order to increase the population there after the destruction caused by invasions. Arvanites ancient Illyrians, otherwise known as today’s Arvanites, who came and settled have a common background with Greeks and, essentially, are of the same origin sharing the same national ideology as well as the orthodox religion. Due to the fact that the Arvanites fought against the Turks, they were chased with rage by them. Especially Mohammed the conqueror, after his victory in the Peloponnese in 1459 and 1460, gave orders to kill them. So, because the Arvanites who resided around Nafplio were being fiercely chased by the Turks, they were forced to move to the utmost distant coasts of Argolida and occupy the neighboring islands- Poros, Hydra and Spetses. A group of these Arvanites found shelter in Sferia and built their first homes in Kasteli, around the landmark of the historical clock. They preferred this area because they perceived it as a fortress and supposedly protected them from Algerian pirates, who during this era, invaded, robbed and literally plagued all of Greece. The second colony on the island is established in 1715, once again by Arvanites, who faced the wrath of the Turks because they collaberated with the Venetians. Besides Illyrians were the Byzantine Emperor Justinian and Olympiada, the mother of Alexander the Great. Also, Admiral Kountouriotis, most naval fighters in 1821, from Hydra and Spetses, including the Souliotes of Marko Botsari and Kitso Tzavella were descendants of Arvanites as well. But many names of places where the residents of Sferia and especially Kalavria have settled come from Arvanite origin. Near Mylos is a place called "Cro" which means water source in the Arvanite language. Words like Brinia and Pounta have an Arvanite descent. The same stands for certain surnames that one comes across today in Poros. Names such as Priftis (priest), Kolias (Nicholas), Gikas (harmless), Gionis (world), Ginis (silver), Laskos (Lascaris), and those that are pure Greek but from Arvanite descent, like Triantafyllou, Economou, Papaioannou, Moraitis, Maniatis, Sotiriou, Koryzis, Vetas, Tsamis, Agalou, Logothetis, Antoniou, Anastasiou. In Kalavria, Arvanite names of places have remained and are as follows: Cape "Achedo" said Bisti (tail), Skarpeza (place with dry wood), Cro (water source), Kontita (watering animals), Modi (louse), also Tselevinia was named this way because the cape is guarded by Arvanites with their boats and whenever Turkish vessels were in sight, they would notify the others who were ready to attack

Karta ....Hi how you doing ? 101 % Fact ! and your line on the map is a little to far north .....the actual line is the Road of Ignatia
and that line basically divided Catholism and Orthodoxy during the schism between Albanians/Illyrians rex "Hey, how are you?" "I'm fine." Thanks for asking me and you ? ENTIRE ALBANIA IS GREEK TERRITORY !!! In our northwest border, there is an artificial state called Albania. (GREEK PROVINCE) Inhabited by Christians and Muslims, Albanians and Greeks. Its capital is Tirana. The Albanian state was created by the Italian and Austrian propaganda in the early 20th century. Never Albanians did a revolution to free themselves from the Turks, nor ever requested the creation of an independent state. The state was created by the insistence of Italy, to halt the northward extension of Greece. AND THE REASON is that Albanians never asked to make an Independent state. The Albanians have always considered themselves, part of the Greek Race. Since Antiquity, the Illyrians Albanians-were relatives of the Greeks. The Byzantine Empire were identified with Orthodoxy and Constantinople, and the National Hero, George Kastriotis was essentially a Greek, who fought against the Turks and in favor of Byzantium. The Kastriotis not fought for Albanian State, but for Byzantium. During the Toukrokratia, Albanians, like many Greeks convert into Muslims, but undertake to keep the love for Greece. Evidence that Ali Pasha tried to create a joint Greek-State, and used the Greek language. When Greece became a state, the Albanians were outside of our limits, as the Thessalians, Macedonians, Thracians, Cretans and other Greeks. In 1878 and in 1881 with the Treaty of Berlin, the Albanian Association of Durres, asked the Greek government to include Albania in territorial claims, and Greece replied that he plans Albania's to,integration in Mother - Greece. So the Italians succeeded with the assistance of Austria to establish the Albanian state, which gradually shaped them Albanian national consciousness. When the Italians came to realize the will of the Albanian people to unite with Greece, and began to grow because the Italian imperialism, did not want to create the Great Greek State in the Eastern Mediterranean. That's why our experienced was negative Albania, Asia Minor, Aegean. In the beginning of 20th century, all of the Aegean islands, with the exception of the Dodecanese, were in Greek hands. Italy occupied the Dodecanese islands in 1912 in its attempt for colonial expansion. In the following years, Italy sought to exploit the potential of the Dodecanese as a naval and air base in the Eastern Mediterranean. Another case of Italian-sponsored puppet states on Greek territory were the proposed Aromanian Principality of the Pindus and the Grand Voivodeship of Macedonia, statelets that were to encompass the regions of West Macedonia, northern Thessaly and Epirus, and headed by Alchiviad Diamandi, Nicolau Matoussi and Count Gyula Cseszneky. The bulk of the Aromanian population however refused to collaborate and the "principality" never amounted to much beyond Diamandi's followers, the so-called "Roman Legion". With the growth of the Resistance in 1943 and the collapse of their Italian sponsors in September 1943, the plans for the Principality were conclusively shelved. Nevertheless, in the Ionian Islands, long a target of Italian expansionism, and in the Cyclades, the Greek civil authorities were replaced by Italians in preparation for a post-war annexation. Another case of Italian-sponsored puppet states on Greek territory were in Epirus, the area near the Albanian border Before the war, a great part of Italian propaganda against Greece had revolved around the Chameria issue, as the Italians hoped to gain Albanian support by promoting irredentism in Chameria and Kosovo. Although the Italians wanted to annex Chameria to Albania, the Germans vetoed the proposal. An Albanian High Commissioner, Xhemil Dino, was appointed, but his authority was limited, and for the duration of the Occupation, the area remained under direct control from the military authorities in Athens.

What's up with the fake blonde hair?
So many southern Europeans seem to have a complex about their "ethnic" looks that they try to Aryanize themselves.
Many of those Albs look very ethnic in the pictures above. You could even mistake for non-Europeans.
