I believe the serbian fans started provoking by throwing stones, coins, bottles let alone shouting death threats at the Albanian players when they saw that they started to largely dominate the game.....

45 Albanians were arrested at Belgrade Airport, including the Albanian Ambassador,Ilir Boçka. They were Albanian journalists, businessmen, and dignitaries traveling to watch the Serbia-Albania soccer game. This is a direct violation of Article 2,7,9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, on the basis of ethnic discrimination and arbitrary arrest violations. This is a diplomatic scandal.Furthermore, discrimination and violence was displayed against the Albanian Soccer team during the match to the point the game had to be abandoned.

Hi everyone, I believe Albanians did not provoke (as we often hear recently by Serb media), but reacted smartly and beautifully to provocations and more. Albanian players were already put in an impossible position...is it a crime to defend your own flag, among all those Serbian flags? ?? What could one do in such a situation???

Five significant elements to understand the truths and untruths on the incident during the football match between Albania and Serbia at the "Partizan" Stadium in Belgrade, on 15 October 2014
1. They were stopped, and when they could not be banned, Albanian national symbols and common symbols of its Western allies were desecrated- Contrary to international customs and the most basic traditions, the unfolding of the Albanian flag was banned in the match between two national teams; the Albanian national anthem was desecrated, jeered and booed; the flag of the North Atlantic Alliance was burned, a flag which includes the United States and most EU member states. "Death to Albanians" was the main chant of the crowd in the stadium.
2. Sports fans of Albanian nationality were not allowed to watch the match in the stadium and Albanian Football Federation guests who were standing at the VIP tribune were mistreated - Contrary to traditional Balkan hospitality and the best traditions of the sports community, they preferred a well calculated, discriminatory, xenophobic and intimidating segregation towards Albanians.
3. The moment when the Albanian team had the upper hand in the game was used to undertake a path of unprecedented provocation, violation of the game and mistreatment against the Albanian team - After the massive throwing of hard objects and fireworks on the pitch, Serbians responsible for the normal proceeding of the game were not able to prevent the appearance of a drone flying over the stadium and carrying a banner with historical Albanian images, which, being forcibly pulled down by Serbian players, brought the immediate reaction of some Albanian players. Contrary to speculation and malicious disinformation from official Serbian channels, no evidence proves that Albanian nationals masterminded or took part in any of this.
4. All players of the national team, Albanian guests in the VIP tribune and the Albanian Ambassador in Belgrade together with the Albanian diplomatic personnel were mistreated and humiliated, without distinction and without protection, - Barbarian hits in the pitch by hooligans with unpunished criminal offenses and stadium staff members, the humiliating immobilization of the national team for many hours and the insulting controls on Albanian personalities who were present, the contemptuous and degrading behavior towards the head and members of our diplomatic mission are proof of a willful denial by the Serbian side of every principle of diplomatic law (ius gentium; comitas gentium), the European spirit of the rights and dignity of the individual and the aspiration to better, authentic and constructive neighborly relations.
5. Panic, misinformation and an intoxicating confusion was delivered to the public with regard to the accountability on the incidents and provocations - Without legitimacy and criteria, the reputation of Mr. Olsi Rama was damaged and he was charged with piloting the drone carrying the controversial banner; the continuous requests for shedding light on the situation directed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia from the highest levels of diplomacy and the Albanian Government were faced with silence; open and repeated accusations were made to the Albanian community throughout the region, as direct instigators of the incident; It was implied that the Republic of Albania cannot be a stabilizing factor since it failed or hesitated to restrain Albanians in the region.

Cana Praises Ivanovic..... Lorik Cana said Ivanovic proved to be a real man, he had a meeting with him before the match. Ivanovic had welcomed the Albanian team players and told them that the game was just a football game.

Hi Rex, I had had problems with my account and logging in, and never had enough time to sit and fix it...don't worry about being alone among a "Serbian stadium"... time has proved that one suffices...

Hey, Rex,
Somewhere I heard it was you who threw that drone in the stadium...you were so convinced that "All Good Things to Serbs fall from the Sky" that decided to try one yourself...

cant say I didn't tell you here ......the biggest hooligan in europe who has been arrested many times was roaming the soccer filed like as if though he owned it ......wtf
There was a familiar face in Serbia v Albania riot – but why was he there? Ivan Bogdanov is one of Serbia’s most notorious football hooligans who has been jailed for his past offenses. But there he was in the stadium on Tuesday, and even on the pitch read more : www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/oct/16/serbia-albania-riot-ivan-bogdanov
