Over 34,000 migrants now seeking asylum in SerbiaOver 34,000 people have expressed the intent to request asylum in Serbia, he revealed on Friday during a meeting in Belgrade of Serbian, German, Austrian, Hungarian and Bulgarian police officials dedicated to the problem of irregular migration. Stefanovic noted that most of those people have not requested asylum because, to them, Serbia is a transit country on their way to Germany, France, as well as Sweden and other Scandinavian countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement. "For the problems of illegal migrants, a practical solution and specific methods must be found that will help us to protect the state borders and, at the same time, act lawfully and provide the right to asylum to people who come from war-affected regions and meet the requirements," Stefanovic said. www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2015&mm=06&dd=26&nav_id=94578As I was saying from day-one when this problem started. The EU will expect Serbia to deal with this, locating and building a `special reserve`for them to be housed. While thousands of Serbians are hungry, jobless and homeless. Has this cunt Stefanovic forgotten that Serbia today is in its`state precisely because it`s a war torn country ...

Police officers arrested for smuggling migrants
The police in Belgrade have two police officers and ten more persons in custody on charges of people smuggling, abuse of office, and illegal border crossing. Source: Tanjug Thursday, June 11, 2015 | 15:06
Beside the two police officers - named with their initials as M.Z. and B.S. - the suspects are nine Serbians and one Pakistani citizen, the Interior Ministry (MUP) said on Thursday.
The group is suspected of charging money for transporting foreign citizens, "irregular migrants coming from war-affected regions in the Middle East," from Presevo to Belgrade and from Belgrade to Subotica, the statement added.
All 12 will be brought before the Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade, along with the criminal charges filed against them.

What a wuss just be straight forward and tell him that Europe doesn't have any obligation toward these illegals and it's precisely because of all the assitance EUrope is providing floods of refugees are pouring in. Vucic wants Germany to give less money to asylum seekers
Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic's proposal to provide false asylum seekers with smaller financial support "is more applicable in practice than some others." www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2015&mm=07&dd=28&nav_id=94901the article is spinning a different tone today, Vucic sounds frustrated with how everyone has been treating him, I guess this is his way of fighting back ... "the problem lies in Bavaria"....

S. Korea to offer US$3 mln in refugee aidSEOUL, Dec. 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will offer a total of US$3 million in aid to Greece, Serbia and Croatia to help them cope with the growing refugee crisis in the region, the Foreign Ministry said Friday. english.yonhapnews.co.kr/national/2015/12/04/0301000000AEN20151204007100315.htmlSteinmeier: Germany respects Serbia's progress - oh this means so much for us ! German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier says his country has great respect for the progress Serbia had made over the recent years and months. He explained that Serbia tabled "no financial demands either toward the EU or toward Germany," adding that his country is "most affected by the refugee wave, and needs cooperation with EU states but also the Western Balkans that is the main migrant route." www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2015&mm=12&dd=04&nav_id=96264The Serbian prime minister said that the migration crisis revealed the weakness of government systems and international organizations, but should be a reminder of the need for security cooperation between countries. - YES ! more EU involvement !!!"There is a fear of the appearance of foreign militants who joined the war in Syria and Iraq [among refugees arriving in Europe], and the fear is growing. The xenophobia is growing, too," Vucic said, adding that these issues highlighted the need for a solution to the refugee problem.

Thousands still at Greek-FYR Macedonia borderIDOMENI, Greece, Dec 4 (UNHCR) – Thousands of refugees and migrants were stuck at the border between Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on Friday following tense protests which prevented anyone from crossing for more than 24 hours. By Friday morning, the chaos had calmed though passage through the border was far slower than usual. Only refugees and migrants from Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq are allowed to cross under restrictions implemented last month by authorities along the Western Balkans route. Tensions have increased around along the Greek side of the border at Idomeni, since November 18, when FYR Macedonia started admitting only nationals from those three countries. Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia implemented similar screening systems by nationality. www.unhcr.org/5661abb56.htmlAll ready to burst into through Serbia.
