taken form other source .... Carving Away the Greek Identity Crisis In the midst of Greece's economic turmoil, modern Greeks must learn to manage with less, as families suffer from budget cuts or unemployment. The new generation is being greatly impacted by Greece's identity crisis as they do not know where their parents, or their ancestors came from, what language their grandmother always spoke in the kitchen, what job did their parents worked in, if there really was a job and other existential enigmas. Greece faces a really tough challenge as it tries to hide its true origins and it continues to manage to hide its true colors of the fustanella. Is this crisis a symptom of the schizophrenic split of a nation built by Germans, fed by Germans and kept alive by Germans? Can we just call it Gekreisch-Land? The land of the shrieking squawkers? What happened to the work ethic of the Greeks of the diaspora? Are we Greeks considered hard-workers anymore? We built democracy for Zeus' sake! Note: Zeus was not immediately available to confirm who built democracy.
