Great news .........unity SKOPJE, Macedonia (AP) — Three ethnic Albanian political parties in Macedonia adopted a joint platform Saturday that demands a larger say in the country's affairs in return for their support in forming a coalition government. Elections held last month gave the ruling conservative VMRO-DPMNE party 51 seats in the 120-member Parliament and 49 to the opposition Social Democrats. Albanian minority parties won the remaining seats; the largest, the Democratic Union for Integration, a coalition partner of the conservatives over the past decade, won 10. The platform approved by the three parties demands that the Constitution define Macedonia as a bilingual country where both Albanian and Macedonian are recognized as official languages. The parties also are calling for a parliamentary resolution condemning past persecution of the Albanian minority, especially during the period 1912-1956. Their platform also seeks "equal participation" in the country's army, security, intelligence and judicial branches and a say in negotiations with Greece regarding a dispute over the country's name. In addition, the Albanian parties want a special prosecutor to investigate corruption and criminal allegations stemming from a wiretapping scandal that led to early elections to diffuse country's political crisis. Macedonia President Gjorge Ivanov is expected next week to give the mandate to form a government to the coalition that secures at least 61 seats in Parliament. www.yahoo.com/news/macedonias-ethnic-albanians-want-nation-declared-bilingual-190736135.html

work on your slavic muslims first
ahhhh the wiretapper himself .....
meanwhile........
VMRO-DPMNE won 51 of the 120 parliamentary seats in the Dec. 11 election, while the rival Social Democrats won 49 seats. Gruevski will need to seek a coalition partner among parties representing ethnic Albanians to form a majority government.
On Saturday three of the four ethnic Albanian parties represented in Macedonia's parliament agreed on their conditions for joining a VMRO-led government. These include demanding a change in the constitution to make Albanian an official language in the country along with Macedonian.

Macedonian muslims are a small minority...whereas 99% of Macedonian Albanians are muslim... Regarding the Albanian language requests, reality check-time; Quote from the Ohrid Agreement; From Annex A The Banditer Principle in this case applies to constitutional provisions dealing with the Preamble, language, religion, use of minority symbols and national identity, culture, the Public Attorney, the Committee for Inter-Community Relations, the Security Council, the Republican Judicial Council, the Constitutional Court, local self-government and the provisions dealing with constitutional amendments themselves, see Framework Agreement, Section 5.1 and Annex A The alternative to the badinter principle is referendum. Good luck with getting a two-thirds parliamentary majority or majority in a referendum to vote for those changes....

so we have to speak Bulgarian ? You and I will continue to speak English if we want to get anywhere. In Macedonia Albanians will continue to speak Macedonian. If that doesn't suit, they have two Albanian states too choose from.

but since your doing Bugarski..... Bulgarian expert Krasmir Uzunov Sofia. “Demands of the Albanian parties change the notion of the existence of Macedonia as a state since 1991”. This is what Krasimir Uzunov, expert in Balkan studies and President of FOCUS News Agency and Radio Network, said speaking in an interview on the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR). Mr Uzunov remarked that there were several general demands in the political platforms of the ethnic Albanian parties in Macedonia – the Democratic Union for Integration, Besa, and the Alliance of Albanians. “The first thing is declaring Albanian a second official national language on the territory of the entire country. The second thing is the distribution of the finances and a uniform economic equality of Eastern and Western Macedonia, or of those non-officially declared cantons with domination of either the Macedonian or the Albanian population (Western Macedonia). In the third place we have the inclusion of the Albanian parties in the negotiations over the name issue with Greece, finding fast solution to the dispute – which means giving up on the constitutional name of Macedonia, following fast integration in NATO and then in the EU, change of the national anthem, national flag and coat of arms, 50% representation in the security services, police, army, and state services and institutions,” the expert explained. “If we accept as groundwork the establishment of Macedonia after the independence referendum and its separation from former Yugoslavia, as well as the Ohrid Agreement as a landmark after the civil war in 2001, this means that a new generation of Albanian political leaders are raising new requirements, which indisputably turn Macedonia into a federation,” Krasimir Uzunov commented further. “Obviously, there is no bottom for the political crisis in Macedonia,” Mr Uzunov remarked. www.focus-fen.net/news/2017/01/12/415122/bulgarian-expert-krasmir-uzunov-albanian-parties-demands-change-the-notion-of-macedonias-existence-as-a-state-since-1991.html

As for the Bulgarians well, they are busily handing out citizenships...100,000 so far I believe. They have set up associations through western Macedonia also, and they are proving to be very popular.... VMRO-BND is in coalition with other nationalist Bulgarian parties like Ataka and National Front, all quite Russian friendly
