They started towards of end of last year and they have been gaining in numbers.
It is said they are purely spiritual in nature without any politics and every night they grow.
I believe last night were the biggest so far.
120,000 on the streets even in snow.
15,000 Pljevlja 15,000 Bijelo Polje 20,000 Niksic 15,000 Berane 25,000 Podgorica 5,000 Bar 5,000 HNovi
plus other cities
Snow, people freezing yet on the streets. In staunchly communist Montenegro since 1945. (where every effort was made to eradicate Orthodox church one can say)
Nothing short of a miracle some would say.
As if God himself had a hand in this.
Picture from Zabljak from last night I believe (-13 C outside btw)

The name of the law itself is a misnomer.
it is actually directly focused on abolishing SOC in Montenegro.
It was passed like 3am before new year in agreement with Bosniak, Albanian and Croat parties there. (needed to give it majority it needs).
Members of "pro-serb parties"* were arrested shortly before passing the law INSIDE the parliament. (*many people work hidden-ly actually for Milo)
Mentors for this chaos are not in Balkans.

What is happening down there in Montenegro is big shame. What the heck is "Freedom of religion" they talking about? This clearly is forbidding serbian Ortodox Church and its trial to remove any trace of serbian national identity in Montenegro. We are getting new Kosovo and NDH right here. Racism against serbs were have never been stronger. I think serbs are now more hated than Jews were in World War 2, of coure again for no absoulte reason hatred towards serbs. Milo Djukanovic is American spy there is no doubt. Also hypocrite situation that happened few days ago was when American Ambassador woman in Montenegro said how its totally wrong that some serbs burned montenegrin flag. Oh really? That is not okay, but when Montenegrin politicians disallow ALL RIGHTs to serbian people then that is OKAY? What kind of hypocrite logic this. What a shame, i have no words to describe such a shame.

I know that, but according to nowadays standards 40% of them consider themselves montenegrin by etnicity, personally i never saw them as pure serbs but rather decendes of mixtures from serbian and albanian tribes. Those other 40% that consider themselves serbian by ethsinicty are true serbs though, but all others are all mixtures between serb albanian turkish croatian genes. There is even some weird theories that Montenegrins are actually Red Croatss though i don't personally beleive this of course.

I agree that Brda was probably albanian long ago but many of today's "Montenegrins" identify like that just because of economic reasons when in fact they speak Serbian and are members of the SOC
