EMonline
The MoU will serve as basis for their mutual development of corporative management codex in Montenegro
After Memorandum of Understanding, the two parties will mutually develop corporative management codex in Montenegro. This codex implies a series of regulations for companies, according to Montenegro Stock Exchange statement.
International Financial Corporation (IFC) and Montenegro Stock Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding which will serve as basis for their mutual development of corporative management codex in Montenegro. This codex implies a series of regulations for companies, according to Montenegro Stock Exchange statement.
“Transparency of Montenegro companies is in focus of interest making this the appropriate time to implement such project”, believe in Montenegro Stock Exchange. “The application of corporative management codex will become a matter of prestige while its implementation will significantly contribute to financial market development and its liquidity”.
Introduction of the codex should benefit companies, shareholders, investors, financial market and Montenegro economy.
Domestic and international legal and economic experts as well as people involved in corporative management and general public will participate in the project. Best international experiences will be used and adjusted to local regulations. Implementation of corporative management codex will not be obligatory for all companies.
Currently, the codex is applied by most successful companies who care about their image and international reputation. By accepting the codex, corporative culture will be raised to the internationally recognised level. (Mina-business)
