The same song I posted earlier, but now performed by Nikollë Nikprelaj.
The difference is that Nikprelaj sings "Prelë Gjeloshi" ... whereas the other two sing "Preng Gjeloshi". And Nikprelaj says "hasmi" when the two others sing "Kuci" and "shkjanë". Perhaps Nikprelaj wasn't comortable with singing a more original song in Yugoslavia, in the same country where you could be sentenced with 10-15 years if you had a copy of "Lahuta e Malcís".

Two questions for donnie.
How many variations on the prenk-prek-prel name are there and what are the differences if any in meaning?
Is Sabri Fejzullahu and his son of magjup origin?

Hey Plisbardh!
I do not know actually. I believe Prenk and Prek are just versions of the same name, possibly our version of the common medieval Catholic-Albanian name of Progon. Prel seems to have a different root. What I do know however is that these names are confined to the Catholic Albanian community, and their origins are thus probably Christian.
I cannot say with certainty. I've certainly asked myself the same thing, as they aren't typical Albanians. But most people I know seem to have accepted them as Albanians ... all I know is that they are from Llapi.

Kujtim Prodani - I'm From Tiranahe he I know the guy and have a very personal moment regarding him and this song. He was in NYC visiting and we went to "Blu Note" a famous Jazz club. After that we went to Little Itally looking for a real esspreso (a dificult task in US). So siping the coffee talk come around Tirana and life back home. He was looking into moving back and i was strongly against for myself. To make the story short he just looked me and asked the waittres for a pen, and started signing a CD: To my friend... to not forget that is from Tirana! So I went home and when listen to the CD there was this song I'm from Tirana! muzika.albasoul.com/album.php?&id=371
