How about Prishtina as the capital? It will never happen though, like personally I wouldn't mind an union of the balkan states, which would include greece and albania as well. But because of the EU, and the US being around (with so many damn bases around europe) you cannot create new unions (or new country again like you guys are saying for yugoslavia), unless a WW3 was to happen and then the aftermath come become that. That would be the only possibility.

Funny you should say that as i have just divised a cunning and fullproof plan to make that happen. illyria.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=balkanhaimosbalkans&action=display&thread=6943&page=2^ Dude, can you STFU? You're not from former Yugoslavia, and you're not Yugoslav, and you're not even Slavic, so why not just leave us in peace? Must you come in here and spread the ugliness that is you? The dictionary is a weapon of knowledge to defend yourself against ignorance, that's nothing to laugh at.

I think the capital of New Yugoslavia should be Jajce! Many imprtant things happened there and it's kind of symbolic.

I still say Sarajevo, as it was/is the most multi-national city in former SFRJ.

I would. Were not landlocked, lets take advantage of that and look externally instead of internally...

^^Can Romania be invited? No, Romanians are not slaves. If you invite Romania, you might as well invite Albania and Greece to join. While you're at it, why not invite India and China too. We all are dying to be part of your non existant country ;D

South African solution. Different capitals for the Judicial, Executive and Legislative branches.
Executive would be based in Beograd -- since it was always the capital of Yugoslavia.
Zagreb would have the Legislative branch because the Croatian Sabor has a tradition baking back to a reported 7th century meeting of Croat nobles.
Sarajevo would have the Judicial branch.

Beograd no question about it....
Its one of the oldest city in Europe by all accounts. It has the largest population. It was the capital of both the former Yugoslavias. And since the Serbs support Yugoslavia the most then it deserves to be Beograd.
However if it was a joint Balkan union then i would choose Thessaloniki or Athens.

Romanians used to consider Yugoslavia a cousin-country.
Here is Lepa Brena in Romania in 1984 singing "Zivela Jugoslavija". Look at the crowd:

Some Romanians consider Albanians cousins, that still doesn't make Romanians slavs nor do I think they'd want to join Yugoslavia. Like I said before everyone is all but dying to join Yugoslavia, we're pissing our pants from excitement here!! LOL

Serbs and Romanians always looked to each other as friends; after all we share a common religion, common mentality, and have never had any serious conflicts in our histories.

Albanians and Romanians are not enemies. It's just that we lost contact with eachother since the end of the 19th century.
