sound familiar Pyrros .....
just like after the greek revolution that tagged them as a common people, culture ...ethnos
serbs had same .....
their 9 year and 9 month revolution 1804-1813....until that time there is almost total lack of secular literature
this nation lacks everything to be called an ethnos ....the only thing that makes em rise is bcs it suited Russia's
plans for pan-slavism
or just like Fyrom just as of recent ..........late to the game
but thats of bcs saxons are a coming ......BOOOO !

and pyrros for the serbs ,their old ethnic base has nothing to do with the language they speak today but more from
the spoken language from this ethnic mixture/blend that took the "serbian" name was only the local language development
created by the Bulgarians .

So their presence in the beginning were Asiatic and forgiven the lands that were desolated by the Avars
of the Roman Emperors so they cannot be autochthonous /ancient and do not enjoy the right to have any lands
in the Balkans as their CRADLE just to fulfill your or their fantasies pyrros
Their CRADLE is "Bujkia" beyond modern day Turkey ......
history is pretty much precise on this

For Pyrros's enjoyment .....
* The "serbs" were a group of people that got this name for serving/serbing the Roman kings
* no proof serbs spoke a natural language at the height of their era but from the development of Old
Church Slavonc--Bulgarian .......the taking of this language occurred when they joined the Christian faithful and that was when they were dependent on the Bulgarian bcs they were the originators of it .
* the serbs beginning as leaders of their territories are when Emperor Heracles gave them lands so to serve /serb
as barriers to the more savage avars
* Old Church slavonic -Bulgarian stayed in the so called literature for 900 years and throughout them
900 years just 3-4 texts
* Even their Stefan Dusan was simply a Roman Emperor (maybe even Albanian/Vlach) -A PRIEST MONARCH- who had invited Asiatic turks into Europe for the first time .....also seeked all ok's for all moves from the POPE

Dr Wizard Pyrros a few questions :
(since you have all the sticky notes on serbdom more than serbs themselves do )
1)When was the word "serb" first used in history as a unit of people ? 2) and where are the serbs during the Great Schism ...1000's ad ??
3) the first serbian books /manuscripts ?

also know .....
slavic names for some of the places does not mean residency...but it shows slavism spreading through the religion. greece was under Bulgarian church administration for some time...... no serbs has ever put foot in Peloponnessus, because they simply didn't exist, but the Bulgarian religious authorities ruled over the land so the naming in their church language

now take this from rex the villager with common sense :
If you mention the term ..."Ancient serbia" in/of the Balkans to a historian they would laugh their ass off
now of course serbs/slavs are ancient.....anybody alive today can be said they are ancient
but not from the Balkans
Czech historian Josef Dobrovský: "If I had to give a common name for all the Slavs, it would be the name Serb".
Polish Historian Lorenz Surowiecki: "The name Serb is older than Slav for all peoples of Wendic ancestry".
Slovak historian Jozef Safarik: "Serbs was the oldest generic name for all Slavs"
well I would agree with them when they first refereed to slavs as slaves /servants from Roman/latin period ---> Sclavus
in Albanian servant is Sherbetor /sherbyes in Albanina slave is Skllav

slavs arrive 500-600ad ,weaken the Byzantines but later dont get tamed by the Byzantines with
religion til 800-900 and did not bring or have any major writings ....AND only 1st original writings are of religion
for many many centuries thereafter ....and they can thank Old Church Slavonic --->Bulgarian version
again look for ancient serbia elsewhere
