Milosevic told not to waste time; trial in fourth year THE HAGUE (Reuters) - UN judges demanded yesterday that former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic stop wasting time and ask witnesses more focused questions as his marathon war crimes trial entered its fourth year. “You’re going round and round in circles and you are consuming a lot of time. You have a specific number of days to present your case and you must use your time more prudently,” presiding judge Patrick Robinson told Milosevic. The court said last year it wanted him to wrap up his case by October. www.ekathimerini.com/4dcgi/news/world__KathiLev&xml/&aspKath/world.asp?fdate=15/02/2005

The reason the trial took 4 years is because they had nothing solid to convict him on. Every time he showed (or came close to showing) to the world that one of the anonymous witness’ had given a false testimony, the prosecution claimed that he was wasting time and cut the sound to his headpiece.
Its called the ICTY. Got to love it.

The ICTY is an incompotent institution. Alot of it's evidence has been disregarded. Alot of it's cases or planned cases dropped because they didn't have jurisdiction. Bias in handing out sentences. mixing politics with the handing out of sentences. Not only that but alot of the logic they use would cause a mistrail or the disbarment of judges and lawyers involved in the case. Not only that but against others to make sure that they copuld get a sentence they disregarded other cases.

My maxim is never trust a trail in which the judge and prosecution are being payed by the same organization.

I agree. The ICTY is a political tool meant to appease Western political motives in the Balkans. Bringing war criminals to justice isn't part of its doctrine.

"My maxim is never trust a trail in which the judge and prosecution are being payed by the same organization." Isn't that like, everywhere.

"My maxim is never trust a trail in which the judge and prosecution are being payed by the same organization." Isn't that like, everywhere. Which is precisely why I don’t believe in the courts.
