One I can say, Greeks were much more close with Thrachians than Bulgaroslavs invaders were. In the same way of thinking with you,Turks are Hittites,Lydians,Paphlagonians and Croats and Bosnians and Slovenes are Illyrians or Dalmatians...Magyars are Pannonians and Americans Apache... If you feel better think this way...

^^ Listen, I know very well who are my ancestors and what is my legacy. If we had some other slav or bulgar settlers is insignificant. We are the Thracian descendants, as you are descendant of the Greeks. And don't think you are 100% pure greek - on the contrary, you're much more mixed than us, with all different persian, armenian and middle east ppl. You look like them.
You are lucky fvucker.. you are Hellenic, Illyrian Thracian, Dacian Panonian... Macedonian, Georgian and Armenian, Iranian and Packistanian if you wish. But the thing is that you are mostly filthy mythomans and very few freaks believe in your fairy tales.

Even though I know you are just a troll, I'll ask you to help me understand Greek history and analyze when did Persians, Armenians, and Middle Eastern people settled massively in Greece?...because my blue-white glasses don't allow me to see the truth...lolololol

They did not settle in masses.. you mixed with them before you arrived here, moving all the way through Asia Minor. As an example.. your people stayed about 200 years in Asia Minor before starting moving and building any city states. You look more like them and not as the local Illyrians, Thracians or Dacians. Stop pretending the impossible. You true origin is far behind, from the areas around Azov and Caspian sea.

Yeah, your true origin is from the asiatic areas.. You should learn more about what you really are and come from. About the steppe-bulgars.. they are do not belong to our ethnic roots. They came and get absorbed long time ago by the local population. Only the name remained here. So don't fool yourself, learn instead.

I suppose turkic Bulgars were numerous, judging from the fact they conquered and ruled a large area...

I suppose turkic Bulgars were numerous, judging from the fact they conquered and ruled a large area... It's totally possible for a smaller population to impose their language on a larger population- for example, the Latin in the Roman Empire or Spanish in Mexico. It's been proven through physical anthropology that most people in the Balkans are indigenous- just the languages changed. Racially even most of the Slavic speaking Balkan peoples aren't Slavs- they're Dinaric or Mediterranean. And your wrong about the Turkic Bulgars being numerous- physical anthropology has proved that they were only a considerable population in northeast Bulgaria.

Just because slavic ppl came and settle in Thrace, hundreds of years before the steppe-bulgars. Thracians accepted these ppl and their comunication was in slavonic. The Thracian language was sacral for them.. they did not wanted sharing it (for many reasons) with slavic ppl. So that's why we can call that as "slaivicization". The Thracian language was as religion for them. So when bulgars came, of course, they learned the slavonic lang. After adoption of christianity (VII-VIII AD), Slavonic speech. was official.
